Orly Electronica Collection for Fall 2012 Swatches & Review

Orly Electronica is their new Back to School 2012 collection. Electronica was inspired by “nature and the machine”. It’s a 4-piece collection that includes two cremes, a shimmer and a duochrome.
- Preamp – Light pink/lavender shimmer
- Shockwave – Royal blue creme
- Decoded – Grey creme
- Synchro – Duochrome pink
I’ve got Preamp and Shockwave covered for you so you know what to get for your back to school needs.

Preamp, Shockwave

Preamp
Preamp is a pink/lavender shimmer. The shimmer inside is heavily pink and gold. Almost duochrome-ish in certain lighting. It goes on a wee bit sheer but builds up really nicely in three thin coats. I love the really creamy, yet super shimmery look of this one. Really pretty shade, though it says spring to me not necessarily fall.

Shockwave
Shockwave is a royal blue creme. Almost jelly-like in texture but a little less sheer than a jelly. The formula is excellent and covers in three thin coats. No streaks or pooling. Super shiny finish and a really rich shade. Pretty!
Availability: Online and in stores this month.
Pricing: $8.50 for 0.6 oz.
What do you think about Preamp and Shockwave? Anything you need for fall?

Note: Orly is cruelty free.

Preamp is really pretty and I think it is right for now. Not saying fall to me at all! Shockwave seems pretty typically blue. Not impressed. I doubt though that I will be owning either of these two.
I agree with this 100%!
Yuup, Preamp will be mine~
Very Pretty! I would definately like to get Preamp. I like Shockwave but unfortunately I have never found a blue that looks good on me.
I just bought these colors they are so pretty.
I love Preamp! My toes need it.
While I do prefer preamp, the ones I have of similar if not same color as Shockwave don’t really have good formulas so I am definitely interested

Not super impressed, I was hoping preamp would be much warmer. =(
Shockwave has that ‘squishy’ finish that I just love. Thanks for swatching these polishes, Kelly!

I like Shockwave because of it’s jelly look, but don’t think I’ll get either.

Preamp is unexpectedly pretty! Love the shimmer in it.

I’m really not in to pinks that much, but I love the gold sparkle in Preamp! I like the blue a lot, though it doesn’t seem that revolutionary.

These are the two that I didn’t pick up. Preamp looks very pretty. Pinks aren’t normally my thing, but the little bit of purple undertone looks nice.
