Love & Beauty Nail Polish Swatches, Photos & Review
Wow it’s been a bit since I bought these! Actually to be precise, 8 months. Yikes.
I found these Love & Beauty polishes at Forever 21. In fact they had what seemed like an endless amount of different nail polishes. So many I was completely distracted and couldn’t make a decision! But finally I decided on 5 greens (typical) and a super amazing looking blue/pink duochrome. At $2.80 each they were a serious steal.
The names leave a bit to be desired however. Two of these are named “Green”. Unique! 
Blue/Multi, Green, Light Green
Olive, Green, Lime
Blue/Multi
Blue/Multi
Blue/Multi is a medium blue with heavy pink shimmer and a warm gold-ish duochrome effect. Mesmerizing. Fabulous. Amazing. Gorgeous. Sick. I am completely in love with this color combo. I find this to be one of the prettiest polishes I have seen in a LONG time. I don’t know what it is. It’s the blue/pink fiery combo. It glows. It applies like butter. It is a bit sheer but three coats gets it nearly 100% opaque. I LOVE IT.
Green
Green (1 of 2) is a light celedon green with small gold and orange shimmery bits. It’s got a bit of a frosty finish that I could do without. It does cover nicely in three thin coats.
Lime
Lime is a sheer lime green base with mostly green and gold micro-glitter. It does have a sheer base, so your nail tips will show even with three coats. It’s a bit thick as you add layers. Would be great to layer over other colors.
Light Green (over black)
Light Green is a light green base with green micro-glitter and orange flake glitter. Since it’s so sheer I showed you over a black. It looks really cool! I don’t know why but it reminded me of fall and Halloween when I swatched it. Love the flake glitter especially.
Green
Green (2 of 2) is a super shimmery green/gold. This is a nice shade and good formula. It covered really nicely in just two coats.
Olive
Olive is a gorgeous glowy olive green with heavy gold/yellow shimmer. YUM. It’s a buttery smooth formula and opaque in two coats. Of course I absolutely love this one also. Gimmie an olive green (or ANY olive) any day of the week.

I love Light Green over black and Olive. Never took a good look at their cosmetics section, but I’ll see if I can dig out something interesting next time!

Those are really pretty – also goes to show that polish doesn’t have to be super expensive! Do they wear okay?

blue/multi reminds me of indigo illusion by Nubar. Such an amazing color. These are great basics and for the price you can’t go wrong.
it reminds me of Models Own Indian Ocean. and maybe RBL Aqua Lily. i’d love to know how they compare.

Haha, I actually own 3/6 of these! I am a big time green polish hoarder.
The blue/multi I used about a week ago with Essie’s Shine of the Times on top, looked like mermaid skin! It was amazing! The sheer green/flakie (light green) I used over Essence’s Choose Me! and it was AMAZING in person! I could not get it to capture correctly in photos but everyday at work I was distracted by my nails! I also have Olive and I have only used it once, and a coworker of mine ‘borrowed’ it and never gave it back
Forever 21′s polish Love and Beauty’s formula has improved so much over the years. The polishes back in 2009 were almost unwearable! Even with top and base I would get chipping quickly. I adore their wide variety of polish now, I just wish they would name them cuter names!

Blue/multi looks like what I wanted Aqua Lily’s (RBL) shimmer to be… very very pretty!
Finally, Love & Beauty polishes are finally getting some love! I love their polishes! For the price, the formula was great and dried quickly.
I’m happy they still have Light Green (since I like to franken with it)! The Blue/Multi is gorgeous!

I think F21 polishes are just re-packaged LA Girl polishes, the Light Green is a dead dupe for one of the colors from the rockstar collection, and I’ve seen other dupes as well. Not that I mind, it’s easier to buy f21 than la girl, but it’s worth pointing out.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE these polishes! they’re amazing for the price and variety! since the polish bottles are so similar to LA colors and LA girl, i think they’re made by the same company.

Finally! It’s about time a well-known blogger raved about Forever21 Love&Beauty nail polishes! I’ve been a obsessed Forever21 shopper for over a decade, years ago they used to only stock LA Girls Cosmetics. I believe that the Love&Beauty brand is just repackaged for Forever21 but the formulations are exactly the same as LA Girls nail polishes. If I remember correctly the Love&Beauty brand has only been part of the company for less the 5 years and has been expanding quickly more recent years. I’ve also emailed CS and questioned store managers about the LA Girls similarities and I’ve been told that they are manufactured by them.
How does the blue/pink compare to Model’s Own Indian Ocean? Looks like a more opaque version…

I didn’t really find that actually, they seem like different greens to me. I prefer Wallis!
The duochrome is gorgeous, a real winner. But I do like the Olive one, too! Which is a bit uncharacteristic for me. It would perfect for fall weather (not that I want that to come around anytime soon!).

I picked up a Love & Beauty polish that appears to be a dupe of OPI I Lily Love You. They have a lot of very pretty polishes.

I have the green flakie one. I have yet to try wearing it over black but after seeing your pics it needs to happen.
I wore it over Essie Pretty Edgy and it rocked! The flakes really lit up over the vibrant green. I also have the Olive one. Awesome formula and so rich looking! Definitely want to get more of these beauties now!
