Too Faced The Art of Sexy 3-Way Lash Lining Tool Swatches & Review

Have you ever heard of a 3-Way Lash Lining Tool? I definitely hadn’t until Too Faced came out with one for us.
What is this contraption? Basically, it’s a liquid liner pen but with a twist. Instead of one pen-like tip, it has three “prongs” you can use to create dots along the lash-line or easily use to do tight-lining. Also you can use it like a regular liner.
Now don’t freak out over the prongs. They look strange but they’re soft and pliable. They won’t poke your eye.

You can use the side of the pen to create a thin regular black line. Or use all three together for a fat one. Or create small dots along the lash line just to thicken it up and make it darker.
The color is a super dark and really opaque jet black. It doesn’t bleed or run.
Overall: Interesting little tool. I’m not sure I’m totally sold on it because I don’t know that the three tips make that much of a difference when compared to a normal liner pen. It is quicker to do three dots at a time compared to one by one though, and I do like that it’s very, very black and doesn’t bleed.
Availability: Too Faced.
Pricing: $22.00 for 0.02 oz.
What’s your take on this liner? Would you try something like this or stick to a more traditional style?
-Kelly
Note: Too Faced is cruelty free.

I’ve seen this sort of eyeliner tip in Asian brands, but haven’t tried one before! I think the dots are good for the lower lash line, where you might not want a clear line that could look too harsh! This is pretty glossy as well. Does it hold up well on you?

Ooh. I want to try it for just for the sake of trying it. haha. I hope they will come out with waterproof version
You could use the tri-tip to draw little bottom lashes a la Twiggy!

This is beautiful! I love the whole idea, although the dots don’t look the same in each of your swatches, and I don’t care for that, but it would probably improve with practice. I like it for the most part though!

Pretty sure I used to have Crayola felt tips like that when I was little!
Yes, I know exactly which ones you’re talking about. I had them, too!

Very interesting, I like the fresh ideas that are coming our way with liners. Have you seen the NYX Curve? I’ll have to check your recent posts to see if you reviewed it, haha!

That certainly is a nifty liner. I wonder whether in use I would find it practical or not. Love the uber black shade though!

I have a liner just like this in another brand (Holika Holika) and I absolutely LOVE it for tightlining! It works amazing for me. I’ll definitely try this, because it’s much easier to get. Seems like an odd idea, but it really works fantastic!
I do love it for dotting at the lash line.

It looks strange to use but I’m quite intrigued by it. I’m more afraid that I won’t get a straight line than anything else.
