Buxom Full-Boded Lip Gloss for Summer 2012 Swatches & Review
Why hello there!
Are you looking to add some bold color, shine and shimmer to your lips this summer? I think that the new Buxom Full-Bodied Lip Glosses might do the trick!
Buxom now has ten shades of their new super hydrating volumizing lip gloss available at Sephora and Sephora in JCPenny stores. These glosses have a dual moisturizing/plumping formula. This is done by using time-released hyaluronic spheres, which promotes constant hydration and fullness to your lips. They also contain vitamin E and jojoba oil. Fancy!

- Yow – blushing pink pearl
- Boo-Ya – iridescent coral

The applicator is a paddle shaped sponge. I really like this large-ish applicator because you can get a lot of color on both sides of the paddle without dipping it back into the tube constantly.

These all had really nice pigmentation and killer shine. They don’t feel sticky either, more of a nice slippery smooth feel.
They do settle into lip lines a bit, but it’s really only noticeable very close up. There is no scent or taste at all, and they don’t burn or sting like some plumping glosses can.
Mwah is a pale pink with gold shimmer.
Hey Baby is a bright fuchsia pink with pink shimmer.
Hot Mama is a bright cool-toned red with red shimmer.

Overall: I really love these! I liked all three colors I tried out, they’re all very wearable. I like that they aren’t sticky and feel comfy on the lips. I also really like the fatty tubes and the applicator. Good stuff!

So do these do not have that shea smell and slight mint tingle? I love my other buxoms that have that scent and tingle.

Btw, I really love your hair. Some people can wear it this style, and I am not, but I so wish I could. You wear it beautifully.

I’m a huge fan of the Buxom glosses so i will definitely be trying these out. I think I’ll stick with a lighter color though cause I’m not a fan of how they settle in the lines. Love the names of the colors though!

I really liked these when they came out – the look they gave and all the colors – but these make my lips peel something fierce. I just gave away or tossed all my open ones and I am going to sell all the ones I have never opened and I swear it must be about 20 or em I had stashed unopened.
These look really awesome. I wish these were in the UK :-/

Hey baby looks lovely.
How would you say these compare to the original Buxom lip glosses? Do they have the sane tingle sensation when applied? Do they have the same texture, just a different finish?
I’m really curious because I love the colors of the originals but they are just too thick and sticky for me so I end up not wearing them often. I feel the same way about lipglasses, they are so pretty but I reach for more thin glosses over those even though I may prefer the color of the lipglass.
To me the Milani glitzy glosses have the perfect texture. I like Korres cherry oil glosses formula too.
