Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Swatches, Photos & Review
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain’s are a new product that’s generated quite a bit of buzz!
These chubby pencils are a lip stain that comes in a gel formula and feels a bit like a cross between a moisturizing balm and a gloss, without the stickiness.
They’re super easy to use! They have a nice rounded tip so you just draw ‘em on. The pencil twists up from the bottom when you’re ready for more. They do have a minty smell and slight taste but that goes away after a bit.
Currently they come in 12 shades. I initially bought 5 of them (mainly because most the others were sold out). But then I went back to CVS the next day and the display was fully stocked…so I picked up two more (will post soon)!
Charm, Darling, Cherish, Smitten, Romantic
Charm is a pale peachy shade. Of the ones I have tried thus far, this was the most pale.
Darling is a soft lilac. Very pretty, but on my lips (as you will see below) it looks nearly identical to Cherish. Could just be me, I have fairly pigmented lips.
Cherish is a light cool pink. Love it!
Smitten is a gorgeous medium raspberry pink.
Romantic is a bright warm red.
After effects of swatching with nothing on lips!
So when they say these are stains, they mean it! Especially with the deeper more saturated shades. Smitten and Romantic definitely stained my lips a deep pink/red and this photo is after I wiped of MULTIPLE times with a MAC wipe. The color stayed that way the rest of the day!
Overall: Complete, total love. They are so easy and fun to use, feel moisturizing, stay on really nicely and are glossy to boot. Of the shades here my favs are basically all but Charm, haha! The other two I bought, which I will show soon, are Honey and Sweetheart. The only negative with these is the price. They are a bit $$, especially if you want more than one, which you probably will.
Pricing: $10.49 for 0.095 oz. Note: I got them at CVS for $10.49, but elsewhere they seem to be between $7.40-8.00. I feel ripped off!
Have you tried these coveted stains yet? Which ones here are your favorites?
Note: Revlon is cruelty free.
