Hey there, how are you on this fine Friday? I hope your week went well.
Do you have any summer travel plans?
I am going to Cosmoprof in Las Vegas next month. Part business part fun since Mr. VV is going with me. I think we are planning on renting a cabin in Lake Tahoe for a week in August as well. Can’t wait to get away!

I’m going back to Taipei for a bit more than 2 weeks in mid-July (if my plane tickets are sorted out. I really don’t know what this website wants from me), so it’d be pretty cool! Vegas sounds great! Enjoy your weekend Kelly

I’m going to Burning Man (yeah, that big crazy festival in the desert)…hopefully. I just got a jury summons for the Monday before I leave! The last time I served jury duty it lasted 2 weeks. I will be livid if I’m picked again!
We watched sunrise at Lake Tahoe after Burning Man last year. Such a very long day…we left the desert late Saturday night, drove straight to the lake, and failed to find a place to park and sleep in peace so we just waited groggily. But the sunrise was magnificent, so it was worth it!
I thought Burning Man ended last year?
I am starting a new job next week if HR is on top of things, so I have no big travel plans for the summer. We will probably take a couple of spur of the moment weekend camping trips though . . . every time we actually PLAN a camping trip, we get drenched with rain, so now we only do last minute camping to guarantee better weather. Have fun in Vegas!
Laura, unless you postponed your last jury summons, I believe you’re allowed to postpone and be summoned again in six months or something like that. I had a friend who did that in college.

No plans:-( Although I do want to do a “staycation” before fall semester ramps up, so that means sometime before the end of August.

YES! Been planning a trip to Toronto with my sister for the past four months – we leave in August for a week. We’re going to see a band we’ve been waiting about a decade to see, so it’s super exciting. PLUS – lots of shopping!
Fun! I have only ever been to Toronto once, and that was the HUGE airport! I would love to visit there one day.
Unfortunately, nothing terribly exciting, to be honest.
I’m heading to Boston (or should I say shipping off to Boston?) in 2 weeks for a work trip, but I never get to do much on work trips, other than be in meetings/trainings. 
Ohhhh I am going to Vegas July 9th! I need a vacay so badly!
I’m taking the weekend off and heading to LA :] I think my next vacation might be in November!
