Ready for some more amazing Makeup Geek Eyeshadows? Well I’ve got twelve more shades for you to drool over. 😉
Again this time I chose some neutral shades as well as more brights. Can’t get enough of these gorgeous greens!
I also purchased a couple of the Z Palettes from her site (less expensive than getting them straight from Z Palette’s site) since my other ones were already filled. The Z Palettes are so great, I love them!
Clockwise: Vanilla Bean, Gold Digger, Chickadee, Cocoa Bear, Mocha, Mango Tango
Vanilla Bean, Gold Digger, Chickadee, Mango Tango, Mocha, Cocoa Bear (over primer)
A couple of the matte shades here definitely are much smoother over a primer than without. Not really a big deal for me though because I always use a primer anyway. Just something to note.
Vanilla Bean is a pale vanilla matte. Great highlight shade, this is the type I use 99% of the time.
Gold Digger is a super pigmented metallic gold. Gorgeous shade!
Chickadee is a bright matte orange. Really nice payoff and unusual color.
Mango Tango is a shimmery peach/pink. Excellent payoff, another not too common shade.
Mocha is a deep chocolate brown matte.
Cocoa Bear is a medium brown/red matte.
Clockwise: Shimmermint, Pixie Dust, Fuji, Taupe Notch, Unicorn, Envy
Shimmermint, Pixie Dust, Fuji, Envy, Unicorn, Taupe Notch
Shimmermint is a mint green metallic with an almost duchrome gold effect. Gorgeous shade!
Pixie Dust is a bright, and incredibly pigmented lime green metallic. Wow! This might be the most pigmented out of all the ones I tried. Super cool color.
Fuji is a super bright apple green matte. Bright and fun!
Envy is a really dark metallic forest green shimmer. Pigmented, soft and pretty.
Unicorn is a shimmery purple/blue. This one wasn’t quite as pigmented as most of the others, but a pretty shade nonetheless.
Taupe Notch is a medium taupe shimmer. Really soft and pigmented. Borders on looking slightly purple-y.
I bought two Z Palettes to hold these shadows, though they actually all fit in one large one.
The first is the plain black one. These large Z Palettes measure 8″ long x 4.75″ wide x .44″ deep. They come with round magnets so you can depot other shadows or blush or whatever into them as well. The Makeup Geek shadows already are magnetic so no need to use them for her shadows!
I also grabbed the large zebra print one as well for future use. What makes these so great is you can put shadows and blushes into them and change them out as needed. So if you’re going on a trip and want certain shadows and blushes (that are depotted), you only need a Z Palette (or two) for your trip instead of all these individual compacts.
These are all my Makeup Geek Eyeshadows in one palette!
Overall: Once again I am very impressed with these shadows. My favorite shades out of these twelve are Gold Digger, Mango Tango, Chickadee, Shimmermint and Pixie Dust.
Availability: Makeup Geek.
Pricing: $5.99 for eyeshadow pans (0.064 oz), $18.99 for large Z Palettes.
