OPI Vintage Minnie Mouse Collection Swatches, Photos & Review

This summer OPI is releasing a collection called Vintage Minnie Mouse. Of course this collection was inspired by the famous Disney female mouse, Minnie!
Vintage Minnie Mouse features fun pinks, a red and a confetti glitter top coat. You might groan when you see more OPI reds and pinks, BUT this is perfect for Minnie Mouse, I think. Sweet yet saturated, feminine and fun!

If You Moust You Moust
If You Moust You Moust is a bright pink creme. I love this color, it’s super clean and cool-toned. However the formula was a little bit uneven. Not too bad after three thin coats though.

Nothin’ Mousie ‘Bout It over If You Moust You Moust
Nothin’ Mousie ‘Bout It is a light pink confetti glitter top coat. It features small iridescent pink glitter and large pink heart confetti chunks. I love the way this looks in the bottle but applying it wasn’t exactly easy. The hearts tend to sink to the bottom of the polish and getting them on the nail, and where you want them is a pain. I had to fish these out and place them where I wanted. Cute effect though!

The Color Of Minnie
The Color Of Minnie is a bright shimmery red. This is a very pretty red, great creamy formula. This was just two coats.

Nothin’ Mousie ‘Bout It over The Color Of Minnie
Same issue with the glitter top coat, I had to place most of these hearts where I wanted.

I’m All Ears
I’m All Ears is a fuchsia pink shimmer. This one was a bit on the sheer side so I used three coats. Pretty shade!
Overall: These shades may not be totally original or super interesting but I think they are really perfect for this collection. I liked them all, but the top coat was a bit of a pain to work with.
Availability: Ulta, Pure Beauty, Trade Secret.
Pricing: $8.50.
Do you like the Vintage Minnie Mouse collection?
-Kelly

I love them all. They’re perfect. I may be a touch obsessed, being that I have a Mickey tattoo on my neck though. =x

The little hearts are so cute! I like I’m All Ears too, I’m just not too sure I want to work with anything that requires 3 coats!

I’ve seen some pretty nail art using these, but for just a regular manicure, I’m kind of “eh”.

Very cute pinks but have seen before. Too bad the heart glitter is so tricky to apply.
Kinda boring. The Color Of Minnie is pretty though. Maybe this collection would have been better released in February instead of summer.
I would’ve loved to see something with black and white glitter like Nubar Polka Dot. As is, I’m still surprised by how much this collection is drawing me in!

The Color of Minnie reminds me of Cha-Ching Cherry. May need to investigate…
They do look very sweet as a collection, but I could never wear pink polish unless it’s seriously tauped out. It just doesn’t suit me.

I am a big Disney fan and have these on order! I love them all too and cant wait to get mine. I think OPI should do a Disney line and do a bunch of great colors!!

I love “If You Moust You Moust” and “The Color of Minnie” looks interesting. Almost like the iridescence shimmer found in several varieties of garden flowers.

Boy they are really cute colors! Probably everyone has something really close in their stashes, but for those that don’t I imagine that these are worth owning. P.s The photos are awesome!
Totally into I’m All Ears!!

These are all so cute on you, Kelly!
And, yes, that heart one is pretty difficult to work with. I second that!

Despite being difficult to work with, I still lust for that super girly topcoat. Beautiful swatches.

I am with your comment Kelly that these work for this collection – but it’s nothing new or newsworthy here for me. It depends what size of collection you have however on all these things – if you are new and don’t have a wonderful blue leaning great pink cream – If You Moust You Moust – is a great one to put into your collection! I personally hate the heart glitters – it’s forever trying to get them on the brush and frankly, I don’t like heart shapes all that much – jewelry and otherwise. Thus not a fan of heart glitters – but did try 2 from Nicole by OPI in the past. On The Color Of Minnie – it’s another one – if you don’t have something like it in your collection – this would be a good one to have. I would pick it up if it did not lean so rose – if it was a true RED I would be there – but then a true red would super stand out in this collection – however, maybe that is what this collection needed – something to stand out vs. them all sort of mesh together.
Pretty colors…but yea not so original. I always imagine Minnie Mouse in her red and while polka dot outfit and bow so I wish they had something with red and while hex glitter or something like that…I could be thinking too indie here though haha

You are right they aren’t original colours but i love that they are a homage to Minnie mouse
I like If You Moust, You Moust, but don’t think I want to deal with the formula…
I think I might give in to getting these because I love my pinks. Maybe only the mini versions though because I have similar colours.
The heart polish looks so pretty. I have the NOPI Love Your Life which is kind of the same, and like you, I have issues fishing the hearts out which really puts me off.
But all pretty anywho.
i love nothing mousie about it and the colour of minnie!! the names are super hard to remember though. opi takes their liberal use of apostrophes too far @__@

Ohh!! I think they are all super cute. I love when OPI puts out a layering polish with their collections, and heart glitter makes me happy!
