Milani Nail Lacquer for 2012 Swatches, Photos & Review

Ready for MORE new Milani Nail Lacquers for 2012? These are CVS exclusives and here we go!

This time I have ten new shades that are all pretty tame and on the “quiet” side. These are cremes, pearls and shimmers, and run the gamut from pale pink to beige to deep chocolate brown.

The formula was really nice with the majority of them, as usual for Milani. Most were just two coats with a few exceptions.

Milani Pink Slippers
Pink Slippers

Pink Slippers is a pale warm toned pink with an iridescent pearl finish. Very pretty soft shade. Super feminine. This was two coats.

Milani A Rose Mylady
A Rose Mylady

A Rose Mylady is a pale beige/pink with a sort of frosty silver finish. I’m not a big fan of the finish on this one personally, but the shade is nice. A little matchy-matchy for my skin tone. This was two coats.

Milani U Pinky Swear
U Pinky Swear

U Pinky Swear is a bright cool toned pink creme. This is a wee bit chalky looking and the formula was lacking. It came out pretty streaky and uneven even after three coats.

Milani Pink Proper
Pink & Proper

Pink & Proper is a medium warm toned pink (bordering on coral-y) with pink shimmer. This baby is super pretty! I love this color, and the formula was very creamy and nice. This was two coats.

Milani Fuchsia Fierce
Fuchsia Fierce

Fuchsia Fierce is a very bright fuchsia pink/coral creme. It actually looks more orange here than in real life. It’s vivid, creamy and super pretty. I love this shade as well and it covered in two coats.

Milani Natural Touch
Natural Touch

Natural Touch is a beige/brown creme. Nice formula, just two coats.

Milani Morning Coffee
Morning Coffee

Morning Coffee is a deep reddish/brown creme. Very rich and creamy formula, I like this color. This was two coats.

Milani Just Grayt
Just Grayt

Just Grayt is a medium concrete grey creme. Nothing that new here, but nice shade. This was two coats.

Milani Hipster Plum
Hipster Plum

Hipster Plum is a very deep plum creme. I made a mess out of applying this sorry! This was three coats.

Milani Chocolate Sprinkles
Chocolate Sprinkles

Chocolate Sprinkles is a deep chocolate brown with bronze, gold, red shimmer. This is a case where I saved the best for last! This is a stunning color, hands down the best one to me. I love brown polishes and when they have this kind of sparkle it makes them even better. Excellent formula, this was two coats. I wish they were ALL like this!

Overall: I think most of these shades are pretty wearable and tame. My favorite ones were Pink & Proper, Fuchsia Fierce and Chocolate Sprinkles.

Availability: CVS exclusives.

Pricing: $4.49.

What are your thoughts on these new shades? Do you love Chocolate Sprinkles as much as I do?

Hmm I like Pink & Proper, but Chocolate Sprinkles is just insanely pretty! I’m pretty sure I can find some eyeshadows in my stash that look about like that :)

I’m not one for brown polishes but Chocolate Sprinkles is just too pretty!! Now I have to plan a trip to my CVS which is nowhere near my home 😀

I must have Prim & Proper & Choc Sprinkles ( love brown on my tootsies!)

  • May 11, 2012

I like Chocolate Sprinkles, it looks like a more intense version of Zoya Cheryl, which I love. Morning Coffee is pretty too. Most of the pinks don’t do anything for me, except for Pink and Proper, which is a great shade.

Pink and Proper is so pretty, I love the shimmer but I’m afraid rose colored pinks just don’t look good on me. They age me horribly! Chocolate Sprinkles takes the cake though! (Seriously, sorry for the pun) lol I love it!

U Linkup Swear is Eucharist pretty Colorado. Too bad about the formula. I won’t buy it if it sketchy. I have learner to heed the opinions of all you bloggers when it comes to application!

  • May 12, 2012

I like pretty much all of these. Particularly Pink & Proper.

  • May 12, 2012

I want Chocolate Sprinkles! I’ll have to look now. Normally I skip the Milani polish section but that’s so pretty.

  • May 13, 2012

Just when I thought any more pretty colors could come out, I must have morning coffee & natural touch.

  • May 26, 2012

Do you have any idea when, exactly, these would be available? I’ve been checking CVS drugstores in my area and so far, no sign of them.

    • May 27, 2012

      Sorry I’m not sure!

      • May 29, 2012

Fiama same here, I went to two different CVS and did not see these polishes. It’s available online but I rather not pay for shipping :(
