Megan Miller Collection Swatches & Review

Megan Miller Collection Megan Miller Collection Swatches & Review

The Megan Miller Collection of nail polishes was started with a vision of “rustic, natural elegance”. Each polish comes in a custom designed round bottle with an eco-friendly cork top. Each bottle is tied with a natural Raffia ribbon as well, making them super cute and unique compared to any other brand out there.

Megan Miller is a cruelty free brand, made in the USA, and big-three free as well.

There are currently just ten shades offered but they come in creme, shimmery and sheer finishes.

As you can see the cork top is actually the brush as well. I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about the texture while holding it, but actually it’s quite nice. It provides a bit of a grip in your fingers, and was just as easy to use as a normal brush.

Megan Miller Foxy Megan Miller Collection Swatches & Review
Foxy

Foxy is a warm taupe creme. It has hints of grey depending on the lighting, but looks more taupe in real life. Good formula but very thin and almost watery. It did cover completely in three coats though. Shiny and pretty shade.

Megan Miller Caribbean Megan Miller Collection Swatches & Review
Caribbean

Caribbean is a sheer blue/green shade. This was very thin and as you can see doesn’t ever completely cover. This is three coats. I am not a huge fan of sheer shades, so I would have preferred it to be more opaque, personally.

Megan Miller Coral Bliss Megan Miller Collection Swatches & Review
Coral Bliss

Coral Bliss is bright coral creme. This one is also thin and somewhat sheer, but does build up nicely in three coats to be pretty much totally opaque. Bright and shiny, great for warmer weather days!

Overall: I love the bottle shape and design. These are definitely some of the prettiest nail polishes I have seen. Love the cork top. The shades I tried aren’t that unique, but nice nonetheless. I really liked Foxy and Coral Bliss the best.

Availability: Megan Miller.

Pricing: $12.00 for .5 oz.

Have you heard about these polishes? Which are your favs?

Foxy and Coral Bliss are both very pretty, especially Coral Bliss! The bottles are lovely and definitely justify the slightly higher price tag for me.

The bottles are cute (though seemingly a bit wide for my taste) and the caps are neat but the colors just aren’t that interesting for the price.

I believe some colors just aren’t meant to be sheers and that blue/green proves it. It just looks kind of sickly :-/

  • I personally wouldn’t pay too much for them but the bottles are adorable!

  • Oh yeahhh… I’m a big fan of their polishes! Although sheer, the formula, application & finish are worth it.
Likewise, wish there were more shades.

  • I love the bottles, but the polishes themselves don’t blow me away. I try to avoid falling into the trap of buying just for beautiful packaging. It does make me want to collect my many, MANY wine corks, drill holes in a couple and top some of my favorite nail polishes though. Is that odd?

  • Coral Bliss would have to be my favorite color out of the three. The packaging on these is great and the colors are pretty, but they’re not different or unique enough to justify the purchase unfortunately. :(

I agree with the bottles being cute. As far as the shades, they’re nice but it doesn’t have me running out the door.

I kind liked of the sheerness of Caribbean. But this line it’s much too expensive for me, but I love the whole idea and concept, and also the cute botles!
