China Glaze Summer Neons Swatches & Review
The days are longer and hotter now, and China Glaze has twelve new neon shades for your tips ‘n toes in their Summer Neons collection.
I must say right off the bat that this is my favorite neon collection ever. I wasn’t expecting AT ALL to love these as much as I do. If they had just been a bunch of neon cremes I wouldn’t have. But iridescent shimmery neons? Oh yes. There are a couple non-shimmery shades in here, but few.
As far as formula some of them are thicker and you should wait a few minutes in-between coats because you will get pooling and/or cuticle drag. But nearly all of them came out perfect after 2-3 coats.
Sun-Kissed
Sun-Kissed is a shimmery highlighter yellow. This is uber-bright. Even brighter in person. I love it, the shimmer just makes it perfect in my eyes.
I’m With The Lifeguard
I’m With The Lifeguard is a shimmery neon green. Wow this sucker is super bright! LOVE.
Orange You Hot?
Orange You Hot? is a neon shimmery orange. The shimmer is yellow. Love this orange on me because it’s not too yellow for my skin.
Pink Plumeria
Pink Plumeria is a warm toned medium shimmery pink. It’s bright and a super flattering pink, but not quite as neon as the previous shades.
Love’s A Beach
Love’s A Beach is a neon fuchsia pink shimmer. Purple shimmer in this one and yes, it’s super bright! I love it.
Flirty Tankini
Flirty Tankini is a coral/pink shimmer. The shimmer is more of a cool-toned pink but the base is warmer. Another fabulous shade I really like. Bright but not as neon as some of them.
Hang-Ten Toes
Hang-Ten Toes is a neon flamingo pink shimmer. Purple shimmer in this one, and very cool toned. What can I say, another one I totally love. Who knew I would love so many pinks in one collection?
Beach Cruise-r
Beach Cruise-r is a neon purple shimmer. Super pretty, love it. Argh I know I keep saying that but it’s really true!
Surfin’ For Boys
Surfin’ For Boys is a neon coral/orange with purple shimmer. HOT. Super bright and not a very common shade. This is one of my favorite ones.
Under The Boardwalk
Under The Boardwalk is a medium raspberry creme. No shimmer here just a shiny creme. Goes on sheer and you need three coats. Finally one I don’t love, haha.
Splish Splash
Splish Splash is a bright blue shimmer. Not really a neon but still a bright blue. No iridescent shimmer here, which makes it a little more “hum drum” to me.
Ride The Waves
Ride The Waves is a medium blue jelly. Sheer, as you would expect from a jelly, and this is three coats. Not a fan of shades where I can see my nail line, but that’s just me.

Overall: I must say I am really amazed how many of these I love. I don’t even know what to wear first! I may just have to do 10 different skittle shades. 
The only ones I didn’t love were Under The Boardwalk, Splish Splash and Ride The Waves.

I feel the same way. I think this may be my fav collection for summer yet!
Oooo God my must-have list is about a mile long with this collection! I love the super ultra bright colors with shimmer. It’s just too awesome! The jellies on the other hand I can totally skip, mostly because I don’t like any of the colors they came with.

These are SO GORGEOUS. I want Flirty Tankini, I’m With the Lifeguard, and Ride the Waves.

I can’t remember a collection this large where I loved this many in a long time!
I think I’ll get all of them except Splish Splash and Sunkissed. I love Sunkissed but I know it’ll look terrible on me. I want to get Ride the Waves for layering/jelly sandwich potential. I can imagine some really cool jelly sandwiches with some of my glitters. Surfin for Boys is my absolute favorite. It looks amazing on you!

I totally thought these were released already, and went to my local sally’s to buy them today…
i ended up walking out w/ 6 other polishes instead! and i want most of these — namely i’m with the lifeguard, orange you hot, pink plumeria, flirty tankini, and splish splash, which is sooo similar to a lot of bright blues out there, but i don’t own one yet anyway. 
guess i’ll be back at sally’s in a few weeks.
Wow, I see so many I’ll have to get! I don’t have a neon yellow yet, even though I’ve been dying to try one. I keep talking myself out of it because they’re usually hard to apply, and I’m not sure if it will look good on me. But I think I need to give Sun-Kissed a shot. As always, awesome swatches!
I am normally a classic polish girl, allowing for some adventurous forays into greens and blues, but every single one of those bright pinks/corals are really calling to me. I saw some other swatches and liked them, but the more I see of them, the more I want bright, retina-searing neons.

I don’t like it that they’re shimmery and seem to be prone to streaking. It was the one collection I was so hoping I’d love and I don’t.

I love your swatches of these, they are the best I’ve seen! I didn’t want them at first but then I bought the CG Poolside collection and I think I will only be rocking those on my toes…. Sooooo bright! These might just be more comfy for me to wear…:)

China Glaze makes the best neon nail polish, and I just love how they’re not afraid to put out tons of different colours. They’re one of my favourite nail brands!

I love all of these, but I wanted to let you know that I’ve seen your photos being used without credit on Amazon, particularly your “Splish Splash” photo. I don’t know if you care or if the seller did get permission, but I think credit it due if they’re using YOUR photos to sell their products. I read all your reviews so I recognized your nails right away!
I love the colors that i have in the China glaze..I hate that I have to apply 4 or more coats to get complete coverage, and also that they dry to a matte finish? Every one I bought dries really quick but is matte.. Are all the colors like this?
