Wet n Wild Flora Collection Swatches & Review

Wet n Wild Flora & Fauna are two new limited edition collections hitting stores now!

Each set contains four pieces: Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio, Color Icon Mini Blusher, Glassy Gloss Lip Gel and Fast Dry Nail Color.

Flora is a bright colorful set, not for those who are afraid to stand out a little in the warmer months. čśë

Flora

Twining Vines

Twining Vines

Twining Vines is a bright green/yellow glittery, shimmery polish. It’s a bit on the sheer side so I used three coats. It’s a quick dry formula so the three coats do dry fairly fast!

Mow The Glass

Mellow Wine

Flora

Flora

Mellow Wine, Mow The Glass, Flora Eyeshadow Trio (no primer)

Mellow Wine Blusher is a medium orange/pink shade with no shimmer. Great color payoff and very nice shade for summer.

Mow The Glass Glassy Gloss Lip Gel is a nearly sheer reddish hue. Just a hint of color with this one.

Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio in Flora features three bright shades. The first is a bright yellow with shimmer. Next we have a medium grass green with very slight shimmer. Finally there is a bright warm orange matte.

The yellow and green shades were pretty soft and I got nice payoff even without using a primer. The orange shade was a little trickier. Not as soft and harder to get the color to come off evenly.

Overall: This set is a great one for anyone looking for bright, fun shades to wear this summer.

Availability: Drugstores.

Pricing: $4.99.

What do you think about Flora? Is this a set you are interested in?

Stay tuned soon for the other cooler toned half – Fauna!

These shades make for a nice combination… and for the price it’s hard to go wrong. I wish the nail polish was a little more opaque, though.

I really like Mellow wine and the yellow/green of the trio! Just for these I think 5 dollars are totally worth it!

I’ve seen both the Flora and Fauna sets around, but they haven’t really looked interesting to me – I have my eye out for the Jeweled collection nail polishes, but they haven’t hit SoCal yet as far as I know!

I’m loving the eyeshadow and blush colors. The polish is really pretty too; I bet it would look great with a similar color underneath it. Gonna keep an eye out for this one!

Is it just me or does Twining Vines look an awful lot like OPI Simply Smashing?

i LOVE the nail laquer and the eyeshadow palette!! Haven’t been able to come across a decent priced shadow like that! However the walgreens and cvs around me suck and are always 1-2 seasons behind :l

Love the color combos in this set and the nail polish is totally me! For 5 bucks you can’t go wrong with this one. I should be able to find these at one of the drugstores around, I feel like we have 3 on every corner!

Wow, what a steal for only $5 bucks! The Mellow Wine blush looks really pretty. Too bad I’ll probably never get my hands on one. I can never find these limited edition Wet n Wild things around me. :(

Can you do a comparison of Twining Vines vs. Ocean Grotto (from their ‘Mermaid’s Cove’ collection)? I swear they are exact dupes!
