MAC’s Powder Blushes are some of my favorite blushes of any brand. Well Dressed is one I have been wearing for what seems like forever! These pack a nice punch with the color and saturation. It’s easy to pick them up on a brush and they are soft. You can build them up easily as well, which is a bonus.
Lovecloud is a really flattering medium pink. More on the flamingo-pink side.
Peony Petal is a very cool-toned blue based pink.
Modern Mandarin is a bright coral/orange. Looks a little scary in the pan to me, but it actually wound up being my favorite one of the three!
Availability: MAC, Nordstrom.
Pricing: $20.00 for 0.21 oz.
What do you think about these three colors? Very summery, no?

Ahhhh they all look sooo nice! I think Modern Mandarin could work for me, but Lovecloud and Peony Petal might be a bit too cool. I’ve been SO busy though, and I’m sure the entire collection is already gone anyways *sniffs sniffs*

Modern Mandarin looks fantastic! While scary in the pan, I’ve found that apricot/orange shades can be so flattering on. I’ll definitely be checking these out in person.

I wanted to add that MAC’s Fresh Honey got a lot of flack for being a scary apricot colour, but actually I really love it when applied with a light hand! I’m so Team Apricot Blush.

I love the colours! I have really dry skin so powder blushes aren’t always good on me. I prefer cream blushes, but will head down to MAC to try them out though.

Modern Mandarin looks amazing! It really looks wearable for such a bold color.

I like Lovecloud and Modern Mandarin. I’ve bought so many blushes recently that it’s crazy.

I love blushes!
They’re such an easy way to improve your complexion and make yourself look more alive.
Your photos and swatches of MAC blushes always tempt me, but the only reason I’ve never bought any is because I have a cosmetic allergy to one of their ingredients. *Sniff sniff* I’ll just continue drooling over your pictures, Kelly!

Hi there! I am loving your swatches! I was wondering if you could lend your opinion… Lovecloud looks so pretty! And I have been searching high and low for Instant Chic. How do you feel they compare? Also, How does it compare to Sonia Kashuk’s Flushed? I loved your entree on Flushed!
Thank you!
