weird how nasty girl (odd name).. is described as a flaming fuchsia but in the pictures its purple..

    • I’m really hoping the name is for the Vanity 6/ Prince song, Nasty Girl – but, it’s probably the Destiny’s Child song.

or that song where they digitally re-mastered Biggie’s voice after he died but it’s probably the beyonce song lol

  • I like them, love the names but $45 for a set of MINI’S. I will be passing. hopefully they will be released in full size individually or something so I can pick up the 1 I really want.

  • Exactly! I’m with Jen, the price is just too damn high! (If you get that reference, congrats and welcome to the dork club)

LOL, I get it. And I agree – too damn high, maybe even with the free Flat Top.

I think matte shades are fug. I tried a purple/fushia matte by China Glaze once (by mistake – bottle doesn’t say matte) and it was horrendous. It showed every nail flaw, ridge; it was streaky and it chipped same day. It won’t be a collection i order.

If you like that China Glaze color, you can salvage it with a high gloss top coat. Mattes often have hidden features that come out with a top coat.

It was likely a neon meant to be used with a top coat.

If the bottle didn’t say it was matte it probably was a neon, which dry semi-matte due to the pigments used. They’re not necessarily intended as a matte polish.

  • Orly just came out with Feel The Vibe and the colors are almost the same. I already got some of those so I wont get these. Plus I dont like minis. You use them once and they are gone!

Each song title I recognize belongs to a particularly annoying song. How unfortunate.

  • I really like the idea of having a set like this — the combinations are endless. :) But not for that price. Seriously. :(

I saw these and thought that minis would be perfect for a mannequin nail/neon tip mani. But $45 for the set isn’t right.

  • I don’t think these shades are unique and the price is just one that I’m not willing to pay.

Given all the affordable neons coming out right now, sorry Lippmann, no dice.
