This past weekend the boyfriend and i got to spend time with his lil girl. We did a lil shopping then just hung out at the house. It made for a nice, easy weekend.

This weekend I celebrated my sister’s birthday and started to study for my last university exam ever (it’s on the Beatles, which is a nice way to go out). Thanks for the giveaway, these colours look amazing!

I didn’t really do anything exciting over the weekend. But tonight I’m going to an Ingrid Michaelson concert as an early birthday present from a friend. As for what I’m reading I finally drank the koolaid and borrowed the Hunger Games books from my boyfriends niece to start reading.

This weekend I went to a baseball game with a friend and had a lovely dinner with two other friends!

I’m reading Pompeii: A Novel by Robert Harris. This weekend I went to a giveaway drawing for 2 Mercedes at a nearby casino. Needless to say, I did not win. Maybe I’ll be more lucky with the nail polishes though!
I was doing my nails this past weekend, of course!
It was rainy and gloomy this weekend so I did a whole lot of movie watching and I’m reading Big Fish!

I have been stuck indoors all weekend revising for exams, and on Sunday I took part in a Levian Diamond trunk show which was great looking at all the sparkly diamonds, not so great cos now I want sparkly things! Seeing as I cant afford diamonds, it would be great to win this collection

This weekend I went to the movies to see, “Think Like A Man” and got a new tattoo on my back.
We had a super busy weekend – dinner on Friday with friends, zoo on Saturday, World Fair at my kid’s school Sunday – we celebrate with different cuisines from around the world, games, cultural customs, etc. Whew!

It was raining yesterday and I decided to water marble my nails. Only the second time I’ve tried it and it came out pretty nice. I used white as a base, with pink, orange and yellow for colors. Other than that, I hung out with my dog, who is the light of my life!!

On Saturday I went to see The Hunger Games with my friends, and then I spent the rest of the weekend at home, catching up on lmy favorite tv series and doing the laundry (boring but necessary).
I went to Las Vegas this weekend for the first time to celebrate my birthday and a friend’s birthday. I saw Cirque du Soleil’s “O” which was amazing, and went ziplining down the Freemont strip. It was pretty crazy – so over-the-top and ridiculous, but a lot of fun. I couldn’t believe the hotels there. I stayed at the MGM Grand and kept getting lost haha.
I didn’t do anything this weekend except work! Lol But…I am starting to read A Game of Thrones! My friend let me borrow the first season on DVD & I watched the entire season in a day! It was so good. Now I can’t wait until season 2 comes out so I can buy it.
The books will have to hold me over until then! Haha

This weekend I did nothing special but beeing with my kids (2 and 6 years), and I also did a little crocheting (I am working on 2 coats size 4 years for my daughter and my niese)
I watched the Spring scrimmage football game at my college, started the daunting task of organizing my makeup and took my dog to be groomed since its hot here now.

I spent this weekend with my mom and sister in law just us girls going to lunch and shopping. we had so much fun!
I went to the Mall in DC, saw the forensics exhibit in the National History Museum and went to the Hirschorn (and for once, enjoyed modern and post-modern art), and went to Teaism, a really nice chain. I bought a Yixing tea set (fantastic) and some tie quanyin (oolong) tea.
I am reading the Sherlock Holmes books (or at least I’ll attempt to, I don’t often read fictional detective and mystery; I keep trying to read these, but I’d rather be reading real accounts). Also, rereading Forensic Footwear by Abbott and Germann (one of my favourite non-fiction/science books). I am also technically reading Paolini’s Inheritance, but it’s difficult to get through.

This weekend I hung out with my 3 younger childen while my husband & oldest were at Disneyland with his school band. It was a great weekend, but I sure am glad the hubby’s home!
Friday night a bunch of my K-8th grade students were in a fashion show put on by the school complete with: DJ, student dance ensemble performances, a cappella singing, positive student written rap performances (alumni and current student ensemble), a catwalk style stage and K-8 girls modelling their best looks based on the themes of each scene. As we normally wear a uniform it was fun to see the girls show off their style. The rest of the weekend was chilling out and some chores.

I spent the weekend (and most of today!) Reading The Hero and the Crown, by Robin McKinley. I finished the previous book in the “series,” The Blue Sword, last week. (TH&tC is a prequel) – SO GOOD! Got me out of my post-Hunger Games funk, lol

I played with my adorable baby nephew.
It rained all weekend so I stayed in and kept warm and did homework while painting my nails!
This Past weekend I didn’t do much of anything exciting, but get things in order for my upcoming surgery to remove a mass from my thyroid. Getting things in order is really challenging as you never feel that you’ve done everything and stressing about forgetting something important.. Butduring all this stressing and fretting, i did manage to do an awesome pink/purple gradient with rose stamping. Ahhhh,…nothing like polish to take the stress away!
I spent the weekend hacking up my lungs. Didn’t even get to show off my Earth Day mani. As far as reading, I’m working my way through the 1632 series, and I recently finished a young adult book called Matched that my daughter got recently.
This past weekend I went to downtown LA with my friend Gabby, to look for new crafting materials, and nail polishes. And the weather was nice and cloudy
I spent this past weekend with my adorable boyfriend, who finds my nail polish obsession quite lovable. And who, if I won these, would probably let me swatch them on him
Went on a fun roadtrip with my boyfriend !
I actually had a pretty great weekend! My boyfriend and I went to a Deer Farm and got to feed and pet some deer, and then see their wallabies, camel, peacocks, etc. It was really fun! Then we spent the rest of it preparing my car to drive from AZ to CA (I was visiting), because the previous weekend I hit black ice and spun out ;( Made it home in one piece though! I am reading Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella (she wrote all the Shopaholic books), it’s completely ridiculous fiction and not typically my style, but I’ve been in a book rut and needed something mindless. So far it actually hasn’t been bad, it’s an easy read.

I worked for part of the weekend, unfortunately. However, I did find some nail polish surprises in my stash, so that made up for it!

All I did this weekend was STUDY! I’m in nursing school, and this semester we’re doing mental health.
I worked almost all weekend and the little time I did have I spent with my kiddos.
Well I had high hopes for this weekend hoping to do some nail polish shopping that didn’t involve online. But I have chronic pain and partially disabled and the pain one this weekend. So I was home cuddling with the cat and yes I did do some nail polish shopping online. I deal with this pain and nausea everyday and it gets to me sometimes but then I think there are others that have it much worse. I need to be grateful for what I have. I love Color Club I know they get mixed reviews but I do love them. I”m an avid polish collector getting close to 650 and I have people ask me all the time why I have so much when I can no longer do my nails and I tell them it makes me happy, it makes me smile and I’m sorry if others think it isn’t wise of smart financially but I’m okay with and so is my husband so even though I have thought of stopping I have not. I love your blog, tweets and fb and I realize this answer is way more than you needed to know or asked sorry lol
Didn’t do too much this past weekend: Saturday lounged around all day and then went out to eat dinner and on Sunday cleaned and did laundry. Boring! Thanks so much for the chance!

Enjoyed the great weather all weekend long! Went and saw a Reggae band Fri nite while enjoying fish tacos (yum!) at an outdoor music venue on the river. Dined al fresco again on Sun nite while being serenaded by a mariachi band in old town.

Saturday I took my parents to breakfast (it was just McDonalds, but w/ coupons I managed to get us all something to eat & coffee for under $10… and it was something we haven’t done in a while, so it was nice) and then I bought groceries & some nail polish.
This past weekend I worked almost 80 hours, so I needed a drink. I went to my favorite bar and has fried bar food and lots of DRINKS.
Well, it’s 1:30am and I should get to sleep, but instead I’m entering nail polish contests.
the color club colors look really nice. I hate that it is a brand that is almost never seen in stores in my area.
I worked all weekend, friday, saturday and sunday
But after work I went with some friends to Bosnian restaurant to try some of their national meals.

Well, my last weekend was kind of boring. I just watched Formula 1, qualifying and race, did some housework, prepared some auctions for ebay and did some paperwork.
But – the weekend before was a smash, as I really spontaneously went to a festival in Berlin, just to see and hear one special band play. What can I say – in the meantime the band members recognize me and come to talk to me. It was such great fun, a wonderful evening, even though I had to go back home really early the next morning to join the big rehearsal of the Big Band I’m playing in.
I went and watched The Hunger Games on Saturday. The movie was good but not as good as I was expecting. I’m sure when I watch it again I’ll love it… same happened with Twilight. Sunday I worked.
I’m a uc davis student and this saturday was picnic day! it’s the largest event for our school. it’s supposed to be a family-friendly affair, but somehow through the years it has turned into an excuse for students to get wasted. so i partied. while drunk, i painted my guy friend’s nails. he got like 3 coats of milani gems 2.0 and then zoya roxy for accent nails with white zebra stripes over them. this really is tmi for the sake of the simple question for your giveaway, but i figured you might be slightly entertained by this story. i also finally found revlon whimsical and painted my nails. i’m apparently good at painted nails drunk…
Over the weekend, I was shopping for nail polish and I spotted a bottle of Revlon Whimsical. So lucky!

This past weekend I read Carole King’s new autobiography “A Natural Woman.” Good read….esp since I grew up in the generations her music came into being – from the days she was the musician behind the words no one knew, to her break out Tapestry LP and her first tour with James Taylor’s first tour…she opened for JT. I saw the tour show about 1 month before Tapestry was released and we were so blown away, JT came on and seemed really lonely after we had been rocking out so much with Carole. JT asked her to come back and play the rest of his set with him after about 5 solo songs. He felt the audience was wrestles. This was just before they played the Troubadour together back in ~71. So kind of a flash back read for me in lots of ways. I also started reading the book written by Clint Hill – the SS Agent assigned to Mrs. Kennedy who we all know from him jumping up on the tail end of that limo in Dallas on Nov 22, 63 after the shots rang out. It’s so far a pretty OK book.

I finished the audio version of Stephen King’s “The Stand.” 41 hours well spent.
I had a family gathering last weekend it was fun but exhausting so on sunday I curled up on the couch with a nice pile of magazines and a book. the book I am reading is not one of the best ever, but entertaining. One of my all time favorites is Island beneath the sea by Isabel Allende about slavery in Haïti. A book that will really impact the reader.

Hi Kelly! I had the nicest lazy ass weekend – just relaxing on the couch with either: playing Angry Birds on my phone, watching Battlestar Galactica, and reading Blonde, by Joyce Carol Oates. She’s one of my favourite authors of all time, and writes the most amazing portraits of women in distress throughout the American culture. Lots of tissues needed, but it’s in some weird way so enriching!

Hi! This past weekend I had my sorority formal, a football scrimmage and Senior “Tea”! Busy busy!
I played DnD with a bunch of friends on Friday, then spent Saturday at the DMV !
This wknd was kinda weird! I worked a lot during the week and my hubs is an overnighter. First part of Sat/Sun was me time! Computer and tv time with my dog Bubba. After the hubs got up we did the grocery shopping, Good Will shopping and some running around. Sunday night I did my second water marble and failed worse than my first water marble!

I went to the Main St. Arts Festival here in Fort Worth on both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was with friends, Sunday was with my dad! I bought a pair of sandals I’ve been wanting since 1994 (no lie), and ate lots of fried yummies.
I’m current reading A Storm of Swords: book three of A Song of Ice and Fire. Love this series! If you like nerdy/medieval/fantasy type things you’ll love this book and all of the 50 million characters in it. Ok, maybe you won’t love all the characters but you won’t get that frustrated trying to remember so many different names.

My daughter had her 7th birthday! I made a barbie cake and we had a great dinner party!
This weekend, I went shopping at this amazing Goodwill and got a bunch of clothes for a great price! Then I tried to lighten my hair from home, and it didn’t work at all…..so now I have no idea what to do with it. Lol.
I just finished the girl with the dragon tattoo, yes I am a little behind the times. When I first saw this on Polishahloic i almost died wanting it, but after seeing your swatches they seem similar to Zoya’s summer collection last yera or the year before. Thought I wanted to buy these but would settle for just winning them instead, Thanks!
i was suppose to be studying for an exam on monday but i basically hung out with my parents and cleaned a lot cause my two furballs destroy the house all the time.

I spent the weekend in San Francisco!
I spent the whole weekend house hunting. After visiting 18 houses we’re in negotiations for one, so fingers crossed!
I spent the whole weekend doing nothing with my girlfriend. It was great.
This weekend I rearranged my computer desk/nail polish desk and now my hands and cuticles hate me but I am loving the setup so I’m okay with it.

I saw the Hunger Games with my mom this weekend (SO GOOD!) and have been reading Lemony Snickett’s The Miserable Mill.
I’m reading Packing for Mars by Mary Roach, and it’s great.
I actually spent the weekend at home lazing about and catching up on Dexter blu rays! Totally unrelated, though I did do blood spatter Dexter nail art once haha!

On Saturday I worked, as usual.
On Sunday I played harp for an earth day concert in San Francisco. The cherry blossom festival was on at the time, so there were a LOT of people in the city. I went to Japantown for noodles afterwards with two of the other harpists and there was barely and standing room. It was so fun!
This past weekend I was at a getaway with my best friend and three other ne’er-do-wells at my friend’s parents’ mountain cabin. There was ridiculousness! This was probably the only interesting weekend I have had or will have for many months, so this question is timely!
This last weekend I worked! Kind of a bummer to work on the weekends, but the money comes in handy!
This past weekend, I went to see Think Like A Man. It was pretty good! Im also reading this war story called Johnny Got His Gun, which is also pretty good

This past weekend I spent saturday in school because there was a sort of exhibition, to get more students to apply.. And the sunday was spent cathing up on lost sleep, haha
I’m reading the Hungers Games right now. on the 3rd book.
Saturday I went to Chuck E. Cheese for my nephew’s birthday and then I went shopping! I spent Sunday getting my invitations ready for my upcoming graduation from college.
Last weekend I went to the National Portrait Gallery (London) with the Mr, ate over priced scones (how very English of me) and watched Lockout (rubbish, don’t bother) then read some of Pure (a historical fiction about too many bodies being in Les Innocents graveyard in Paris). Right now I’m eating a homemade chocolate and marshmallow muffin (slightly burnt because I was in a rubbish mood).

I didn’t do anything too interesting last weekend… But I’m reading two books right now: Catching fire (The Second Hunger Games novel) and A Feast for Crows (The 4th in Song of Ice and Fire). Yay Color club!
