Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara Long & Tall Review

Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara Long & Tall Review

Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara Long & Tall has been causing quite the stir lately on Twitter. I have seen countless people talking about how great it is, and how they look like they are wearing false lashes when using it. So of course, I felt the need to check it out myself!

Skinny Brush Mascara Long & Tall came out in February at Sephora. It’s a jet black mascara in a soft tube. The brush is designed and shaped to help lengthen, hold a curl, evenly disperse and separate lashes.

No flaking, no smudging, no crumbling. It’s also a waterproof formula, but you don’t have to scrub your lashes off to remove it.

Two coats mascara on upper lashes only

As you can see, it definitely adds curl, length and thickness to my lashes, as well as a super black color.

I like how with this wand you don’t get much excess mascara coating it, which helps for a clump-free application. I have been wearing it for a week now and haven’t had any flakes or smearing whatsoever with it. It removes pretty nicely with warm water and a good cleanser, and I really like the length and definition it gives me.

Does it look like I am wearing false lashes? No, not at all. But it’s a great mascara, and one of my current favs (alongside Benefit They’re Real).

Availability: Sephora.

Pricing: $19.00.

What do you think about Skinny Brush Mascara Long & Tall? What is your current go-to mascara?

  • I like the packaging for this product! It looks like it really works. I usually only buy drugstore mascara, but if I ever splurged, I would consider this.

  • I want to try this! I have bounced between Maybelline Great Lash and Clinique mascara forever, but I’d love to try something new. It’s just so hit or miss with mascaras – at least for me. I splurged on Diorshow once and hated it, so I’m a little scared of “expensive” mascaras.

  • I love the packaging! I don’t usually go for high end mascaras though, because I’m pretty happy with my drugstore ones.

  • This looks like it’s worth a try. I dont need length in a mascara since my lashes are so long anyways, but I’m always looking for volume and something to hold the curl. I like brushes that have smaller type bristles like this brush. I may have to keep an eye out for this one :)
I’m currently using a deluxe sample size of Laura Mercier…I dont remember what it’s called though, but I really like it so far.

Gives nice length. I’m looking for mascara that gives masses of volume. Anything you can recommend?

  • I like the packaging but I probably won’t give it a go. I have so many mascara favorites right now so I really don’t need another.

  • Oh I like this! Mostly because of the packaging but I’m just so bad at determining when a mascara works for me or not. Guess I’ll just have to blindly follow the advice I’m given!

Oh man, DiorShow forever. That is my favorite. This one does look nice, though.

  • I’ve never used a soft tube mascara before. I wonder if it would be easier to scrap residual once you get down to the last bits. Intriguing.

  • This mascara does make a difference, but you already have beautiful eyes and lashes to begin with, Kelly. :)

Aw, MAN. I *just* placed a Sephora order last night, including a spare tube of the excellent “They’re Real.” Which, seriously? SO EXCELLENT. This definitely looks like it’s worth a try, though!

  • OK that’s it, I’m going to get one of these Eyeko mascaras to try it for myself! My current go-to is Maybelline fatty tubes. They all do about the same thing for me, so I have lost track of which one does the job the best. I’ve tried some high-end mascaras, but none of them has worked for me so I keep going back to Maybelline!

Interesting. If you had not shown it on you, I would say no just based on the brush. I have tried cutting brushes down to help separate. I have used the very popular no bristle mascara from BE. The BE never deposited enough product on my lashes. I do see the curl. That part is nice. Wondering how the formula is on the crunchy factor. I am so used to ones like Tarte Lights Camera Lashes and Real Lash that don’t leave crunchy product on my lashes – hard to give those up.

  • I’ve only seen the Eyeko polishes; I haven’t heard of their mascara. I like the packaging, and could see myself giving it a try. I’ve been using Clinique High Impact mascara so long, maybe I need a change!
