Milani Runway Eyes Eyeshadows for Spring 2012 Swatches & Photos

Milani has three new shades in their Runway Eye Eyeshadow collection this spring.
These shadows, like the Baked Marble ones are baked on Italian terracotta tiles and made in Italy. The land I SO long to visit and move to. I already know I want to live in Tuscany, though I have never been. I want to eat everything and have olive trees in my huge yard. The quiet rolling hills, the warm sunshine…whoops sorry, got sidetracked…
They come with that little curved brush with a sponge applicator on one side and a brush on the other. I never use these and kind of doubt most people do unless in a major pinch. I prefer a regular brush or even my finger, when used wet!

I love the way these three shades look sitting next to each other. So dainty and feminine.

Golden Touch

Peaches & Cream

Antigua

Golden Touch, Peaches & Cream, Antigua (dry)

Golden Touch, Peaches & Cream, Antigua (wet)
Golden Touch is a light pearly gold/white with gold shimmer.
Peaches & Cream is a pale peachy pink with pink and silver shimmer.
Antigua is a medium olive green with heavy gold shimmer.
These shadows all have a “shimmer overspray” and pearl finish. When used dry, they are light and not that pigmented, but still brightening and soft.
When used wet they get more intense, especially Antigua, which is a really gorgeous, must-have shade! I also really like Golden Touch because it nearly looks like a duochrome.
Availability: In stores now.
Pricing: $6.99.
Do any of these shadows tempt you?
And now I’m off to fantasize some more about Italy.

Can I have some of that Antigua please? An olive green with gold shimmer? That’s two things I can’t resist put together!

These look really nice! Antigua shall be mine — assuming I find these…
I found these to my amazement at my local CVS, got Antigua and Peaches & Cream and skipped home happy. I cracked them open, swatched a couple of times on my hand, and…wasn’t impressed. I didn’t do it wet, but all of the overspray was gone and the shades just looked flat.
I was thinking about returning them to CVS, but I don’t know if they have a makeup return policy like Walgreens.
Your swatches look so much nicer than mine did!
I have these three, but they have yet to be tried! I’ve seen them around in displays in the drug stores, usually alongside the three baked ones. I got mine at CVS.
Ohh I really like Antigua and I was just at CVS and didn’t look! I was too busy deciding if I should spend more money on polishes or not. I behaved and came out empty handed. Which also makes me sad.

Hmm, they don’t seem very pigmented and I’ve used Milani eyeshadow. They have some beautiful shades as always, I just wish they were more…’sturdy’

Love them all! Thanks for the swatches. Antigua is the kind of color I am wearing lately.
Antigua is lovely. I just adore olive shades. I’m with you about living in Tuscany.
I’m in love with Antigua. What a gorgeous shade! Golden Touch is a winner too, for the kind of day we just want a sunny energy!
Antigua is gorgeous! I’m also really loving how Peaches and Cream looks, which is unexpected for me. Usually I don’t go for peachy-pinks. One more item from Milani which makes me want to hop across the border and hit up a drugstore! Thanks for sharing.

Why can’t they carry Milani at any of my local stores?! I want all three – especially Antigua!

I love the look of Antiqua and think I’ll search for it in spite of the glitter. The color is gorgeous.

I’e had a Milani shadow similar to Golden Touch for ages now and I love to use it for a highlight. I prefer to use my own makeup brush for application, as I find the provided one causes too much fallout.
It looks like Peaches and Cream is a lighter/ less chunky glitter version of Urban Decay Snatch. I’ll need to check this one out.
