Milani has added some new shades to their regular collection of lacquers and I’ve got some of them for ya.
They come in a variety of finishes from creme, to metallic to shimmer and are big-3 free, as well as fairly inexpensive.
As far as formula, I did have some issues with a few of them being too thick and streaky. But others were really perfect.
Juno is a pale pastel pink creme. This formula was just not working for me at all. Very thick and sticky-like, and streaky as well. It was just two coats but doesn’t look smooth and perfect.
Beach Front is a bright robin’s egg blue with silver shimmer. Very pretty!! Love this color and the formula was buttery and excellent. This was two coats.
Signature Gold is a copper/gold metallic. It’s a warmer shade, but still worked nicely for my skin tone. I am always mesmerized by these metallics! Good formula a little tiny bit streaky, but not too much and only two coats.
Orchidia is a bright violet with silver shimmer. Super pretty! I was a little miffed at first because it was really sheer and I didn’t think it would be opaque at all. But after three coats it’s really perfect. Such a great spring color and really nice formula also.
Teddy Brown is a milk chocolate brown creme. Love the color, but had some issues with it not applying very evenly. You can see lighter and darker streaks. This was three coats.
Sail Away is a deep navy blue with loads of silver and light blue shimmer. Great formula, no issues, nice color. This was two coats.
Deep Thoughts is a blackened royal purple shimmer. The shimmer is pink and purple and the edges are super dark. Reminds me of velvet. Good formula and only two coats for coverage. Maybe not the most unique purple though.
Dark Coffee is a very dark chocolate brown creme. I really like this one because it’s so rich and shiny. The formula was good but I used three coats for maximum payoff.
There are some good colors here for sure. I think the best ones for me were Orchidia, Beach Front, Signature Gold and Dark Coffee. The formula definitely needs work with a few of them though!
