Milani Baked Marble Eyeshadow for Spring 2012 Swatches, Photos & Review
New this spring from Milani are new shades of their Marble Baked Eyeshadows.
The new colors are: Must Have Fuchsia (Metallic), Copper Excess (Shimmery) and Green Fortune (Shimmery).
These are baked on Italian terracotta tiles in Italy, which makes me like them even more. 
They can be used wet or dry as well.

There actually isn’t that much of a difference with these shades when used dry or wet. They are a little more intense when wet, but still pretty pigmented when dry.
Copper Excess is a beautiful orange/copper shade. I am SO into this color and on blue eyes it makes them POP!
Must Have Fuchsia is a bright fuchsia pink.
Green Fortune is a subdued green/taupe with shimmer. Kind of a strange shade, I wasn’t expecting it from what it looked like in the pan. Unique though! It almost has a duochrome pink/green effect.

Green Fortune is so bizarre – gorgeous in the pan, and nice on the skin too, but really not what I would expect!

Green Fortune looks incredible – love how it’s a duochrome. Very interesting! Those are the kind of colours that you can even wear solo and it looks hot.

Green Fortune is a cool color, but it’s almost unexpected. I thought the bright green would show up a lot more, but I love how it’s a duochrome!

Yeah it’s a lot more muted and grey than I expected. Still pretty cool though.
I have played around with Green Fortune a bit and I think I like it and I think I hate it. Without a doubt, it’s probably one of the prettiest shadows in the pan.

You like it and hate it, haha? It is gorgeous in the pan but I can see how if you wanted a vivid green, it’s not exactly that!
As everyone else has noticed, Green Fortune looks incredible in the pan! But definitely not what I expected it to look like when it was swatched. Hmm. Wonder what it would look like over a dark green base? Might be a nice effect, and might even bring out the duochrome more.

These look really nice. I love that green. Looks prettier in the pan than swatched.
Green Fortune was what I was most excited about but Copper Excess was me swooning. Out of all three I will def get Copper Excess. Reminds me of Flamingo by Smashbox.

it looks like like a less green MAC Unsurpassable MES from the Semi precious collection, except it has red/purple veining as well.
Yeah, same here … Green Fortune got me all excited but it’s a bit more boring than my expectations. I still love neutral shades best though so I might have to try it out! Really wish my local stores carried Milani.

Over a primer they wear as long as any other shadow I use. Basically 12-16 hours. Easy to blend, soft and nice!
I like Copper Excess. It reminds me a little of NYX Shimmer.

This line of makeup has really intense colors. I think they would look great for a night out. They look like fun colors to wear.

I went looking for Milani after seeing some of your posts and the only place that had it (CVS) was either phasing them out as lots of items were 75% off andconsequently gone, or they are making space for the spring items. I hope it’s the latter!

You’re definitely right about green fortune being a unique color! I love finding new colors of shadows being I have so many and it’s hard to surprise me, but I’m not sure if this will compliment me very well.
