Jane is a brand you wouldn’t think of being at Nordstrom Rack, but now they are!
They carry a few different Jane products now (along with Stila) and today I’ve got on of their EyeZing Mix & Match Compacts in the shade Havana Tones.
This compact features shades of pink, purple, silver and black. It comes in a small compact with a plastic insert inside with the names of each shadow printed on it. I like that they have individual names, but not a huge fan of those inserts with the names, because I tend to toss them, then don’t know what the names are! It also comes with a rather useless double-sided sponge applicator.
Pink Sugar, Plum, White Lies, Lilac, Platinum, Clubbing
Pink Sugar is a pale mauve/pink frost. It’s pretty pale but good payoff.
Plum is a nice deep plum with slight shimmer and really nice payoff. Was actually a little surprised it wasn’t chalky for some reason. Fun fact: These plum shades make my eyes POP, they’re my favorite colors to wear.
White Lies is a shimmery white. Soft and good payoff.
Lilac is a matte lilac with not so great payoff. Disappointed with this one.
Platinum is a deep smoky silver shimmer. It was pretty sheer.
Clubbing is a smoky black with multi-colored shimmer. Not great payoff and a bit chalky.
For the price it’s an ok compact. I do like the plum shade a lot and the first three shades were pretty good.
