a England The Legends Collection Swatches & Review
a England has a new collection out called The Legends that includes seven new colors. I don’t know about you but I am super excited about them!
This collection was inspired by the tale of Saint George and the Dragon.
The colors include:
- Saint George – Teal holographic
- Dragon – Green holographic
- Princess Sabra – Gold holographic
- Order of the Garter – Royal blue glass fleck
- Bridal Veil – Black holographic
- Ascalon – Grey holographic
- Princess Tears – Lilac/grey holographic
The formula with all of the ones I tried was most excellent. They are buttery, smooth, so easy to apply and perfect in just two coats. They’re very holographic and shiny as well. Just perfection!
Ascalon, Dragon, Saint George, Bridal Veil
Ascalon
Ascalon is a lavender grey holographic. I really love this base color because sometimes it looks more grey, sometimes more lavender but always very rainbow shimmery and holographic. So pretty.
Dragon
Dragon is a medium green with holo effect. Lots of gold and green in this one which looks great with this green. I LOVE this green base also, it’s beautiful.
Saint George
Saint George is a deep teal holo. Tons of blue and green shimmer. It’s super rich and amazingly shiny looking. I cannot decide if this is my favorite or not! This was nearly one coat, but I used two for good measure.
Bridal Veil
Bridal Veil is a black base with holo. The black is maybe more of a super dark charcoal grey. It doesn’t look as harsh as black, which I like. The holo effect in this one is slightly more subtle than the other three but still there. Reminds me of the sky at night.
Overall:
Beautiful collection! I only saw four of the seven, but I think I may have gotten some of the best ones. I really love each of these colors, they’re right up my alley, and the formula is completely perfect. I think my two favs would have to be Dragon and Saint George.

Didn’t like any, but I’m not on holo/duochrome/anything else than cremes anyway. As colors they’re pretty, as np, not my thing.

Beautiful swatches!
I feel like I definitely want Ascalon and Princess Sabra from this collection as these strike me as the most unusual colours… but St George is just plain *beautiful* so that has to go into my wishlist as well.
I managed to not order from this brand with the Mythicals as I told myself I already had beautiful holo polishes… but these colours mean that yet another brand enters my collection. And once I get the first ones, I’m usually sold on a brand and continue to buy.

The two that I MUST get now are St. George and Ascalon!!! I love both of these colors and they are AMAZING!!!
There is a local beach island near where I live called St. George Island. It is a beautiful place and I have spent endless days there. Even if the color on this wasn’t amazing I would still buy it for the name alone!!!

Just ordered St. George and Bridal Veil last Friday! Already have Lady of the Lake and Tristam (which is what I was hoping RBL’s Catherine H. would be like) and love the formula on those!!

Geez, does she know how to make ugly polish??? These are so incredibly gorgeous! Ascalon, Dragon and St George all need to come home to me. I’m definitely going to have to check out the rest.
