Speciallita Hits no Olimpo Collection Swatches & Review
Welcome to the wonderful world of Speciallita nail polish. Speciallita is a brand that hails from Brazil, but never fear, they do ship to the US and other countries!
Otherwise what I have to show you today would just be cruel.
This collection is called Hits no Olimpo and it’s inspired by the Greek Olympian Gods and Goddesses. There are thirteen colors in the collection and all are holographics!
I found the formula to be pretty darn good with these. Some were a little more sheer than others (mainly the lighter colors) and I needed three coats. The darker ones covered mostly in just two coats. I did get a couple bottles with weird brushes. A few had brush pisces that were sticking out that I had to trim off, and one had a VERY wide flat brush, which was odd. Other than that, no issues.
Hefesto
Hefesto is a some what sheer base with a rainbow of holo. Even with three coats you can see visible nail line. This would make a great top coat holo I think. EDIT: Turns out this is a top coat, so I was right in thinking it made a good one. 
Artemis
Artemis is a silver base. The silver is a wee bit brush-stroke-y but not that big a deal. This was three coats.
Hermes
Hermes is a nice cool gold base. A classic C3PO gold. This was three coats.
Poseidon
Poseidon is a very fitting blue base. I love this one, so pretty. This was three coats.
Hestia
Hestia is a lavender/pink base. This was three coats.
Demeter
Demeter is a bright tangerine colored base. This was two coats.
Afrodite
Afrodite is a raspberry pink base. This was two coats.
Atena
Atena is a purple/red base color. This was two coats.
Ares
Ares is a bright cherry red base. This was two coats.
Apolo
Apolo is a deep blue base. So pretty! This was two coats.
Hera
Hera is a teal green base and definitely my favorite one. Such depth and a beautiful color. This was two coats.
Dionisio
Dionisio is a royal purple base. Love this one also, but it was more sheer so I needed three coats.
Zeus
Zeus is a black base which just shows off the holographic-ness even more. Awesome color and two coats.
Overall:
Very nice collection! The colors are all different, the holographic-ness really is strong and obvious, and the formula was pretty darn good.

Pricing: They translate to about $4.00 US, which is pretty darn good! The bottles are 6ml. The site is currently all in Portuguese now, but they are working on translating it.

Dayum! These are gorgeous. Hera is my absolute fave, sooo gorgeous, but I’m also digging the orangey goodness of Demeter.

How much did the site charge you for shipping, if you don’t mind my asking..? Was it reasonable?

They sent them to me for review so not sure how much shipping is, sorry!
I just ordered the entire collection, plus eight duochromes. The total with shipping to the US was roughly $110 (195 Brazilian Reals). It was charged in Brazilian Reals to my VISA.
The Mari Moons were the duochromes I ordered. They are available via the link Kelly provided.

You can try Ludurana, is another Brazilian brand and they are B3F. They have holos, flakies and multichromes too.
I love this collection! It is deffinitely my all-time-favourite nail polish collection! I NEED every single one of this!

And Zeus is my very favourite one! But from what I’ve read, Hefesto really is designed to be a top coat. It was created so that you can turn every polish of your choice into a holo. And it workes wonderful that way.

I live in Brazil and love the brand! The formula is one of the best out there, covers in two coats and last 5 to 6 days on my nails. This collection is gorgeous and my favorite is Dionisio! Ah, they have multicromes comming out this month!

) About Hefesto: it’s actually a holographic top coat. This is why it is not opaque!!! You can find lots of good layered nails on brazillian blogs with this amazing holographic top coat (my favorite one: http://www.9ml.com.br/9ml/lemonade-dos-deuses-amplifica )

Does the holo effect in these put OPI and CG holos to shame? Because while CG’s Kaleidoscope and OMG collections are great…are they truly that unbeatable that they’re worth so much per polish?

I did create an account just to see the cost and although the color itself came out to about $4 something, shipping is about $30 to the US. Llarowe has ‘em at $10 a piece BUT shipping is much more reasonable.

From what I hear the shipping from Brazil is kind of crazy. Which isn’t that surprising, is it? I think for those of us in the U.S. buying from Llarowe is cheaper.

I’m taking a chance with their “contact us” form to see how much shipping to the US would be for 6 colors. They are so cheap, but paying an outrageous rate for shipping will be a deal breaker! Fingers crossed!
