If my skin gets dry this winter, I have no one to blame but my damn self.

No really, because these three items from Lush (one new) are everything my parched itchy skin could possible desire during the cold, dry, humidity-lacking, space-heater blasting winter months.

For me, the parts that get the itchiest and driest are my calves and hands. I think my calves get it the worst because of my 24/7 space heater at work and all the tights, socks and boots I always wear. My hands simply because the air is drier and I wash my hands a lot more than normal (which is already a lot) since it’s cold and flu season.

This is my first ever experience with Lush Dream Cream, Crème Anglaise, and the new Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner and I like all three!

Color Club Under The Mistletoe is a glittery, holographic collection of six new colors.

Yep, more glitter. But holo glitter is pretty cool I think. And for some reason these seemed a little less messy to remove than some other recent glitters I’ve swatched. Maybe it’s because I only used two coats instead of three (trying to preserve my cuticles!). I didn’t get full coverage with any of these using two coats, and all but one have a clear base.

The glitter in all of these is very small and hexagonal. There is one (Holiday Splendor) which also has TEENY glitter along with the small glitter. To the naked eye this might be harder to detect but luckily my macro lens makes it easier.

One of my very favorite channels to watch on YouTube are the “Chapman” sisters otherwise known as Pixiwoo.

Sam and Nic are both makeup artists in England and incredibly talented. Not too long ago Sam came out with her own line of brushes called Real Techniques sold at Ulta and I recently picked up the Core Collection and the Blush Brush.

I also have the Your Eyes starter set and a few of those brushes have become total staples for me!

Because Sam is a cruelty-free makeup artists, her brushes are made with taklon (in other words synthetic) bristles.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Speciallita nail polish. Speciallita is a brand that hails from Brazil, but never fear, they do ship to the US and other countries!

Otherwise what I have to show you today would just be cruel.

This collection is called Hits no Olimpo and it’s inspired by the Greek Olympian Gods and Goddesses. There are thirteen colors in the collection and all are holographics!

I found the formula to be pretty darn good with these. Some were a little more sheer than others (mainly the lighter colors) and I needed three coats. The darker ones covered mostly in just two coats. I did get a couple bottles with weird brushes. A few had brush pisces that were sticking out that I had to trim off, and one had a VERY wide flat brush, which was odd. Other than that, no issues.
