NYX Slide On Waterproof Liners Looking for a Metallic New Years Eye? Try NYX Slide On Waterproof Extreme Shine Liners!

New Years Eve is frequently associated with glitz, shimmer, glitter and glam. A great way to get a little of that glitz without going totally overboard is with a metallic eye look.

NYX Slide On, Glide On, Stay On & Definitely A Turn On Water Proof, Extreme Shine Eye Liners can help you with this! And yes, the actual product name is THAT long!

These come in eighteen shades, but there are three shades that are perfect for a New Years Eve look: Platinum, Glitzy Gold and Golden Bronze.

They are extremely creamy, soft and smooth liners. SO easy to get payoff with them and they really last without smudging a long time.

Platinum, Glitzy Gold, Golden Bronze

Platinum is a perfect mega-silver shade.

Glitzy Gold is a gorgeous old gold shade. This is my favorite one, SO pretty!

Golden Bronze is a really nice medium bronze shade.

As mentioned these have great color payoff and are super easy to apply. No tugging or pulling. In fact they are so soft you have to use a somewhat light hand applying them lest the tip break off.

Availability: NYX and Cherry Culture.

Pricing: $7-8.00.

Would you rock a metallic eye for New Years Eve?

-Kelly

  • Oooo I like Glitzy Gold!

I’m probably going to do a metallic gold smokey eye for New Year’s Eve, just because I really like gold :)

  • I like the silver and gold shades. I have similar shades from Urban Decay, but when I run out of what I have, I’ll look into getting a couple of NYX’s version. :)

Yes I like the UD ones also. These are less expensive though! ;)

  • Wowza – that is a really long name! :P But if they can fit it all on the pencil, that’s a good sign. At least the pencil is long and will last a while.

Golden Bronze is my favourite from the bunch. Lately I’ve been getting more into bronzes and browns for eyeliner instead of just black.

Not sure what I’m going to wear for New Year’s Eve yet.

    • Hi Swatch and Learn,

I know right? I love bronze and copper and old gold lately on my eyes. I used to never wear those colors, it’s opened up a whole new world!

I can’t wear metallic liners there because it irritates my eyes…

    • Hi Resa,

They are VERY waterproof so they don’t smudge easily. I took a shower with the swatches on my hand and they were mostly still there after 10 minutes in the shower :)

Crazy long name! I bet the gold one looks beautiful on you. It looks like it would compliment your hair & skin coloring nicely. Happy New Year Kelly!

Oooh, I might have to try the silver! Always looking for a great waterproof metallic silver liner, ever since Dior stopped making theirs (grrr). Urban Decay and Shu Uemura’s are okay, but they lack the density and staying power of that awesome Dior one.

If I didn’t have a gazillion eye pencils, I’d order all of these. Love metallics. I guess I’d better look through my collection. Have a Happy New Year’s Eve & day Kelly. God bless you.

I have one of Stila’s liners in Koi and Milani’s Liquif’eye in Gold- they look very similar to Glitzy Gold, so I probably won’t pop for that one, and I’m waaaay too pale for the Platinum, but Golden Bronze must be mine! Beautiful swatches, Kelly! Thanks, as always!
