I haven’t really bought anything recently because I’ve been trying to severely cut back and budget myself, and the only books I’ve been able to read have been for college (I’m an English major, so LOTS of reading!), but I have had a cool thing on my mind of late: moving in with my boyfriend. We’ve been looking for apartments, and I can’t help but look online at all of the cool “dream-items” I’d like to have in our apartment: a really cool retro couch, depression glass salt and pepper shakers, a really cool rug in the living room…and of course I can’t stop thinking about living with him, cooking for him, waking up with him…heaven <3

My favorite thing that’s entered my house recently are a whole haul of Christmas socks, ribbon and clothespins from the dollar store, which I put used to make an adorable advent calendar – all hung side-by-side. I put different candies in them and DH and I get to share a new sock every day.

Well the coolest thing I have bought of late would be the Essie lux flakie. It is almost a dupe of Sally Hansen’s hidden treasure, but it is a goodie. These are a lot like nail inc’s Donmar, wyndham, and old Vic. I thought Donmar would be a dupe, but it is greener than Essie and Sally. I just finished The Great Gatsby..I have mixed feelings about it. Despite the obvious reasons of it being a sad story, there’s something that really saddens me. Also there’s ALOT of symbolism in it, which is pretty annoying but it’s a great book overall. I plan to read The Hunger Games next, in time for the movie next year…Yayy!

i bought two michael kors watches when saks had 30% off of them after thanksgiving. i would have bought only one, but i couldn’t resist the great deal (mk watches never go on sale) and i’ve been wanting them for like two years. i think of it as an early xmas + bday gift to myself!
If you want soft hair you have to get this spray. It smells good and its a protector AND it makes your hair soooo soft, I’m not kidding. Its called Kenra Platinum Blow Dry Spray. I even use it when I am not blowdrying or straightening and it still gives me great hair.

I live in a tropical country but i’m going to South Korea for New Year so I can finally experience winter. I’m so excited that i bought lots of winter gear. My favourite was a pair of houndstooth gloves that I got from Uniqlo. I am now counting days to the time when I can sport all my winter gears.
I have recently received my OPI Muppets mini set, I fell in love with the colors, especially with ones I was a little bit unsure. I love them all now!
I love the OPI Muppets mini set I’ve purchased lately. Colors are sooo gorgeous! Im not sure why so many people got disappointed with this collection, it’s amazing.

I am having trouble believing that it is almost New Year’s again. This year has flown by that is for sure. For me I have to look forward to surgery right after the new year for torn ligaments in my right hand. Re-injured it this fall and have been fighting to get it healed since. Joy.
