Right infront of me, there is a fireplace filled with balloons of different colours from a birthday party last week. It’s very pretty! (:
The Ferris Wheel at the local fair is all blinged out with fancy-programmed LEDs this year, I believe for the first time ever. Lots of different colors, swirling and draining out. We intentionally stayed late so we could be there when the lights came on. I’m hoping to dye some yarn next week to go along with some of it.
When I look outside the window, there is a particular tree. Now in autumn, it’s yellow, orange, red, a bit pink. Sooo beautiful, I love the colors on it in autumn. So this inspired me to wear my eye makeup like that!
I saw a woman who had hot pink and teal stripes in her hair. The colors were so beautiful together. I’m too lazy to maintain hair color, so I was inspired to do my eye makeup with hot pink and teal instead!

I live near a forest, so when I stroll in the woods, now in autumn I see all of the colors you can imagine. Well, almost all of them lol. I think my daughter loves all of these colors, because she wears makeup a lot, and tries on different colors. So this would be an inspiration for her!!
My latest inspiration was a post of a fellow blogger Nihrida having teal base colour and flakies on top, I did the same mani about an hour ago and I absolutely love it. Lovely combination.
The fall leaves! I made a smokey eye make up this passed week end with orange, yellow and a dark brown. It was yum-yum!

The last inspiring colorful thing I saw were my nails. The color was so ugly, I had to re-paint them. Haha! Orly’s Royal Velvet is always a winner. The blue of this eyeshadow you’re giving away, kinda looks like the duochrome in Royal Velvet… right?

The last colorful thing I saw was the popoular photos of melting crayons mounted on a canvas with all of the colors running down. I plan on doing this soon! I love anything artistic like that
I have China Glaze Frostbite on my fingernails. Not only can I not stop staring, I’ve gotten a gazillion comments – all of them positive. Talk about electric blue!
I work with middle schoolers every day, and the girls are really into eye searing bright colors this year…but some of their combos are so inventive and spot-on that I end up trying it on my nails.
The last colorful thing I saw that gave me inspiration was my newborn nieces cheeks. They were so pink that I painted my nails pink even though we are in Fall. It was just too cute.

The last colorful thing to inspire me was a kaleidoscope that my boyfriend’s grandmother made. So many different images could be made with it’s different colors and shapes. It got me on a glittery nail polish kick.

The last colorful thing I saw was the tree in my front yard which is changing from deep green leaves to multiple shades of oranges and reds. The last colorful thing I was all the leaves turning colors. The oranges and yellows are so gorgeous. I even seen a tree that was red mixed with green leaves, so amazing. I bet that would make an awesome eyeshadow look for the holiday.

My last colorful inspiration… was from the movie Puss in Boots yesterday! The movie was so adorable and funny, and the story revolved around magical beans that lead to the Goose that lays golden eggs in the giant’s castle! I’ve been thinking of trying out using the green from the beans and the gold from the eggs in some kind of eyeshadow combination! Maybe with a cateye for Puss, haha.

The other day, Allie and I were making lemon cupcakes that were 10 times better to her because of colored sugar sprinkles. Seeing her get so excited is inspiring. When those colored crystals hit the buttercream icing the cupcake was perfection, as was her face with a big ole grin on it.

What last inspired me was my UD <3 NYC book of shadows. The colors are gorgeous just as this sugarpill one is!
I was inspired by the coloring on a tee-shirt from shirt.woot.com. On their entries, you can only use 6 colors, so I often see some interesting ways they shade things to use one less color, and it actually helps guide me because I tend to go overboard picking colors to use when it’s not needed. I’ll end up with a table of 20 pots of color, when I could easily get by with 5 of em, if I do it right.

The interesting thing was, one had their puffs dyed bright blue, the other, bright pink! I stopped to ask about it and the owners were super sweet, telling me they had their dogs in a show, and that the dye was completely safe of course, but I’ve never seen anything quite as unusual on the street since then

Hmm the last colorful thing I saw was the Sephora holiday catalog!
I got inspired this week by some pretty hot pink nails and my sugar pill cosmetics loose powder in black. I made hotpink nails. And gave my eye’s a dark daring smoky look. I also used the pink sugarpill loose shadow use it on the bottem of my eye’s. With glitter eyeliner to boot! Man was it gorgeus!
