Revlon Spice It Up Limited Edition Nail Enamel Collection for Holiday 2011 Swatches & Review

So you know how yesterday I mentioned the limited edition Revlon Spice It Up collection for holiday 2011 also had some cool nail enamels? Well I got two of them for ya today!
There are eight total in the collection, but I happen to think these are the stunners.
- Vanished – Pale bronze-y gold shimmer
- Ignite – Bright shimmery orange
- Mistletoe – Deep evergreen with shimmer
- Cheers – Soft pale pink
- Glitz Glam – Glittery raspberry
- Snow Bunny – Shimmery icy white
- Spice It Up – Shimmery brick red
- Decadent – Shimmery royal purple
These are all Top Speed Fast Dry enamels, which I don’t mind because they do dry super speedy and seem to last as long on me as anything else. Both were a medium consistency and just two coats.

Decadent, Mistletoe

Decadent
Decadent is a red-toned bright purple with heavy blue shimmer. So pretty. So rich. So mesmerizing. So…un-unique? Some that are similar are SpaRitual Instinct, Wet n Wild Sea Witch, Wet n Wild Eggplant Frost and Bloom Josephine. Even though it’s not unique it’s gorgeous. I had very minor brush stroke issues with it, but overall, very nice!

Mistletoe
Mistletoe is a deep evergreen shimmer. The base is a dark murky evergreen and the shimmer is mostly green and gold. It’s a really, really gorgeous green. It reminds me a little bit of BB Couture Posse, but it’s definitely not a dupe. The color I have the closest to this is Diamond Cosmetics Never So Evergreen, but again, not quite a dupe. This one is murkier and darker and the gold shimmer is more prominent and closer to the surface.
Availability: Ulta, Drugstores.
Pricing: $5-6.
Now that you have seen Mistletoe and Decadent nail enamels, what do you think about them? Pretty enough to hunt down?

Wow! Mistletoe is just amazing!

I picked up Mistletoe and Glitz & Glam last night at Walgreens. I like Mistletoe better though, beautiful. Why do I keep buying glitter polishes? Stop luring me in with your sparkle!!!
I JUST returned Mistletoe because the color didn’t quite do it for me. Compared to Zoya Edyta, it looked really grey and not as sparkly– though I did like the gold flecks. I wish it looked as good on me as it does on you!
I LOVE Zoya Edyta and was wondering this myself. Thanks!

Mistletoe is lovely. I don’t like shades like Decadent and yes, it’s so not unique.

I bought Spice It Up and wore it with Nubar 2010 for my Thanksgiving Day mani.
I blogged about it you want to check it out. Not trying to spam or promote just want you to see how beautiful the combo is.

Great timing – I just picked up Mistletoe today! I didn’t see Decadent – probably sold out with my luck! Great review

They’re both winners, in my opinion.

I saw Revlon Mistletoe in the store and almost bought it. I kept picking it up and putting it back. The only thing that made me put it back was how dark it was. I really prefer to see more of the green, but it is really pretty, and you’re rocking it!

Mistletoe looks to be more unique. Decadent is pretty, but I wouldn’t bother getting it.

I have to pick up Mistletoe. That looks fabulous.
I like mistletoe… and I think decadent seems to have similarities with other brands that I’ve tried. It’s a great color though…
Love Mistletoe! I shall have to try and find that sometime
