I just love Japanese Maples. Their leaves are so defined and delicate. And that color gradation is always breathtaking! I will always be a transitional season fanatic!
That’s gorgeous! We have a maple tree in our backyard too, and I kept wanting to take a photo of it once all the leaves were red. Unfortunately, we had a spell of nasty cold and windy weather that by the time it happened, half the leaves had already fallen off. How old is it ?

Not sure, we move din 9 years ago and it was fully mature then. The house was built in 1986 so it may be that old.
