Fortune Cookie Soap Goodies for Holiday 2011 – Don’t Read While Hungry!

Warning! Do not read this post if you are hungry. No seriously, you will want to eat all of this stuff like I did.

The Carrot Cake Sugar Scrub (5.5 oz) is my favorite item I have tried from them. The smell is completely carrot cake 100%. Nothing weird or artificial about it, it’s so dead- on. I REALLY wanted to eat some, but I managed to control myself.

This scrub is a really fine sugar scrub that feels really great. Not overly harsh and doesn’t leave a weird film or feeling behind. It made my skin really soft and left behind a nice carrot cake scent. I adore this!

Caramel Apple Whipped Cream (5.5 oz) is a caramel apple scented thick body butter. The scent of this one is nice, but maybe not as perfect as the Carrot Cake Scrub. It’s on the sweeter side, but still a pleasant smell.

I LOVE their Whipped Cream’s though in terms of texture and moisturization. I have the cupcake scented one and I absolutely love it. It’s non-greasy, rubs in very easily and makes your skin very soft. I use it on my hands before bed. Again, I have to control the urge to eat it it smells so good.

The Pomegranate OCD Hand Sanitizer comes in a fairly large bottle (4 oz; you can also get a 1 oz) and in a gel form. After the initial alcohol scent, you get a really nice accurate pomegranate scent. Very fruity but not sickly sweet.

It contains pro-vitamins B5 and E and Aloe Vera which help to moisturize. It kills 99.99% of many common germs and bacterias.

There are little speckles of glitter in this though which I don’t love. It’s cute and all, but I don’t really want glitter all over my hands. The glitter did seem to fall off pretty easily though and it wasn’t a lot.

Cram Your Face in my Sweet Pumpkin Pie Solid Smell Good (.75 oz) is a mouthful (not literally)! Yes, this looks like a deodarant, but it’s actually solid lotion in a twist-up tube! I think this is a really great idea. Super portable and convenient.

The smell is amazing, totally pumpkin pie! Confession: I don’t like pumpkin pie. At least not the regular kind. I made this one last year and love it. But I have always loved the smell of it.

Caramel Apple Soap

The Caramel Apple fortune cookie shaped soap smells DEAD ON like a caramel apple. This was the first thing I smelled when opening my box from them and it’s really yummy.

Not only does it smell amazing, the caramel part looks and feels like actual caramel!

Each of their fortune cookie shaped soaps comes with a paper fortune inside. They are hollow inside, which makes them a little odd when they start getting used up because they flatten out.

The shape can be a little awkward to hold in the shower but they are pretty large. You have to work a bit to get a good lather, but they do wash effectively and leave your skin smelling lightly like the soap’s scent. But don’t expect it to last long, these babies get used up fairly quickly!

Santa’s Cookies Soap

Santa’s Cookies is kind of a strange scent. It smells like peanut butter and nutmeg and something else I’m not sure of. I didn’t love the smell of this one to be honest. Pretty strong and odd scented.

I do love that it has a texture to it though which kind of acts like a mild exfoliator.

Joy to the World Personal Air Space Freshener comes in a 4 oz metal can with a spritzer on the end. It smells like the holidays! Kind of a nutty yet fruity scent. Really nice. You can use this anywhere you like to freshen up the place!

Overall:

Fortune Cookie Soap not only has some really great stuff for stocking stuffers or gifts to yourself (hint hint) but also they have great customer service. They are truly a great company to order from and they do ship Internationally!
