China Glaze Eye Candy for holiday 2011 is a new collection of six glitters.

Yep, glitters. Again. I feel like all I have swatched the last month are uber glittery nail polishes, and to be frank I have seen enough!

That’s not to say there aren’t some great ones here. I am just more of a shimmer kind of person. 😉

Coverage with these was really quite good. I used two coats for nearly all of them and was satisfied.

China Glaze Blonde Bombshell
Blonde Bombshell

Blonde Bombshell is a polish with micro gold glitter, small bar glitter and larger gold hexagonal glitter. I love this color gold (cool-toned) and really liked how well this covered.

China Glaze Lorelei s Tiara
Lorelei’s Tiara

Lorelei’s Tiara has small silver glitter and larger blue/teal hexagonal glitter. I really like how much blue glitter is included in this. It’s not too sparse and you get a good amount when applying. Great coverage and cool color combo!

China Glaze Material Girl
Material Girl

Material Girl is a soft rose pink with micro pink glitter, small pink glitter and larger hexagonal glitter. I am kind of “meh” about this color for some reason, but it also had great coverage.

China Glaze Marry A Millionaire
Marry A Millionaire

Marry A Millionaire is a color that includes purple and pink micro glitter and green and yellow bar glitter. While I like the way this looks in the bottle, I didn’t love it on the nail. This was two coats though, so good coverage.

China Glaze Love Marilyn
Love Marilyn

Love Marilyn has small red glitter and larger hexagonal silver glitter. Good coverage at two coats.

China Glaze Some Like It Haute
Some Like It Haute

Some Like It Haute has charcoal grey and silver small glitter with larger holographic hexagonal glitter. This was my favorite one of the bunch, thought it did require three coats.

For glitters they’re…well glittery! There are some good combos here, but they aren’t super easy to work with. But what glitters are? They are messy to remove and definitely not smooth without a good thick top coat layer or two.

Availability: Online.

Pricing: $3-5.

What do you think about Eye Candy? Are you over glitters this holiday season yet?
