Friday night I went to Sushi Garden here in Anchorage and ordered a locally made Strawberry Rhubarb wine from Bear Creek Winery. Its was complex and so yummy! I never drink so I was a cheap date after just 1 glass I was plenty tipsy
Then Saturday I had a grilled sharp cheddar cheese sandwich on sourdough bread with thinly sliced green apples and BACON!!!!!
The best thing I ate this weekend was a lovely chicken and mushroom pie that my friend Lucy brought to a party. I even asked her for the recipe, to do it at home.

This weekend I was at home because I have a lot of homework to do, and it was raining. But reading beauty blogs helped my mood
I was eating fried chicken with rice and some sauce, it’s one of my fav foods!!
The best thing that I ate this weekend was a delicious ice cream treat from a new place near my boyfriend’s place. I am a sucker for an oreo ice cream mixture… Fantastic!
I’m reading Truthseeker, and actually stayed up way too late last night putting flowers on my nails.
The best thing I ate this weekend was a fabulous potatoe casserole that my boyfriend cooked. With ground beef, goat cheese and lots of cheese on top. I LOVE it!

So here is my entry:
I live in Germany and today me and my family went to Weimar to the Zwiebelmarkt (zwiebel is the german word for onion).
It’s a traditional festival here and most of the things there has to do with the Zwiebel. And they make decoartion out of Zwiebel. It may sounds strange to you, but believe me the thing you see there are very beautiful.
And you can eat a lot of delicious things there, like I did.
My favourite was a handmade bread with “Schmalz” (something whats typicall in germany, but I don’t think theres a translation for it) and bacon. Delicious!

I finally saw “Up” this weekend and loved it
I saw the remake of Red Riding Hood yesterday. Just a great movie, awesome pictures and costumes, a little bit of romance and thrill. It had just about everything I want in a movie. I loved it!

I’m going to tell you about what movie I saw and what I’m reading, since I’m really excited about them. I watched the movie Toast last night, with Helena Bonham Carter and Freddie Highmore- it was pretty good! I’m currently reading The Tortilla Curtain by T. Coraghessan Boyle. It’s surprisingly a good read! It’s like a multiple character book, where it shows the views and experiences of several people. It’s great!

I had some ham yesterday that was amazing. My BF’s family cooks turkey on Thanksgiving (I’m Canuckian) and I’m not big on it – my Swedish fam and I usually have ham on holidays! So as a compromise, we have ham the day BEFORE Thanksgiving at the BF’s parents house. SO GOOD. I want to eat it all.
I haven’t watched a movie recently, but I’m really like Breaking Bad this season. we originally started watching when the show was a couple seasons in so it was heavy (emotionally) trying to marathon it at all. now that we’re all caught up, I look forward to seeing it every week. (can’t believe there’s only one episode left though!)

I ate an amazing breakfast this morning at Cora’s , a western omellet wrapped in a pancake! Hummm
I went to the movies with my friend on Friday and we saw Sixteen Candles, which was only showing for two nights. I love that movie and it was awesome being able to see it in theaters.

hmmm… The best thing I ate this weekend was something really simple: grilled toast with butter, sprinkled with some salt. I know it’s nothing much but combined with Earl Grey tea with a dash of milk… it’s heavenly ^^

I had barbecued chicken wings that leave me craving for them now. They were so crispy, with no fat under the skin yet the flesh was juicy and flavourful. I told my best friend we are definitely going back for a chicken wing feast.

Oh this one is easy – this weekend we had family visiting, so headed over to Chamonix in France (we’ve just moved to Geneva, Switzerland) and had Fondue for the first time – yummy, I think we will be investing in a Fondue set soon!

The most exciting thing that happened to me this weekend was buying all the Muppets Glitter Polishes. That and rereading Worldshaker were the highlights of an otherwise mundane weekend.

My friend made an amazing spaghetti squash dish with sautéed zucchini, onions, pumpkin puree, black olive slices, in a delicious red spaghetti sauce with grated cheese on top. It was so good and so right for Fall!

I didn’t really have anything fantastic to eat this weekend (I worked EVERY NIGHT so yeah), but I just finished the most AMAZING book. It’s called Night Circus. If you’re into weird, mysterious, and all around fun books (or if you love circuses), you NEED to read it. SO good.

Best thing I ate this weekend was Greek food. There’s a Greek festival at the St Thomas church every year. My girlfriend gets enough takeout to last 3 days! I had some moussaka & souvlaki. Also bought stuff to freeze for later on. It was delicious. Except for a gyro the Greek food is a once a year thing for us.
I have been on the hunt for these for a while. My daughter’s birthday is coming up and I know she would LOVE these scented polishes, especially since they would be polishes of her very own.
I had Thai Tea with small boba & pineapple jelly. Yum!
