Today is the best Friday ever for me as I am off work for 8 weeks! Yahoooooo!

- How was your week? Extremely stressful and awful but getting better now. I feel like I might be getting a cold though.
- What is your Saturday morning ritual? I usually wake up between 8:30-9:30. I then put on a pair of PJ pants (I sleep in t-shirt), slippers and then I shuffle into the kitchen for my coffee. Then I normally boot up Nessie (my computer) and look at emails, blog comments, Facebook and Twitter. Sometimes I eat breakfast sometimes I just have coffee until lunch time.
- What’s on your nails? Qtica strengthening stuff and that’s it.
- What’s your outfit for today? PJ’s and sweats today
- When it comes to boots, do you prefer: ankle booties, mid-calf, knee-high or thigh-high? I am a mid-calf kinda gal, though I do have some knee-high boots. I was really anti-bootie until recently, when I’ve seen some cute ones in the fall magazines. Thigh-high is definitely not my style and I think should be reserved for super tall women.
- Do you have a favorite item of clothing for fall? Not specifically but I am a huge fan of sweaters. I love big fluffy ones with a cowl-neck.
- Lady bugs: cute or creepy? Cute as long as I’m not looking at them through a microscope.
- Do the leaves turn amazing colors in autumn where you live? We have a maple tree in my backyard that does turn a really pretty yellow and orange color. But this area doesn’t have the amazing bright colored leaves that say the New England area tends to have.
- Your favorite warm drink is: Super hot non-fat vanilla latte with extra vanilla.
- What are your weekend plans? SLEEP. And maybe watch some DVD’s.

Do you have a favorite item of clothing for fall? Yes, I’m a big fan of sweater dresses. I’m kind of odd, but in the summer, I hardly wear skirts or dresses. But in the fall and winter, I wear them quite a lot!

1.How was your week? Tiring. I moved last weekend and there is so…much…stuff to clean, organize, and unpack. Also, adapting to having three dogs has not been easy…the dog that I inherited got into the pantry and has been leaving “presents” all week, plus my little dog has been acting up in protest of the change.
2.What is your Saturday morning ritual? Ideally, I would sleep in, make coffee and a yummy breakfast that I don’t normally have time to make, walk the dogs, and just be leisurely. This seems to be becoming less and less of an option, lol.
3.What’s on your nails? BB Couture Playboy. I love the color, but it is chipping more quickly than it should because I did it in a hurry.
4.What’s your outfit for today? A vintage dress. Primary blue, white, pink, and teal horizontal stripes on top, chevron stripes on the bottom. Pink heels.
5.When it comes to boots, do you prefer: ankle booties, mid-calf, knee-high or thigh-high? Knee high, but I have a HELL of a time finding ones that fit. I have recently given in to ankle booties for this reason…not as flattering on me, but doable and much easier to fit. No on mid-calf and thigh-high (although my bf would like those, lol).
6.Do you have a favorite item of clothing for fall? I think tights! I used to be so anti-tights and now I think they are the greatest thing ever…they’re warm, they hold you in a bit, they make all dresses winter-appropriate, etc.

How was your week? Lot of things to do but I’m finally figuring out a way to organise my day.
What is your Saturday morning ritual? I wake at around 8, go for a walk with the kids, some shopping to the open market, then I buy them an ice cream and take them to the playground. When I’m not going out I stay in bed with the kids watching cartoons.

Awake by 7, put fresh seed out for the birds (wild ones), smoke, make breakfast, back to bed, nap, shower, get up and plan the day (which is normally half over by then!)

Finding boots to fit my calves is damn near impossible – even the super duper ultra wide we make boots for everyone boots aren’t large enough. They’re out of proportion but that’s just the way I am. And don’t even think about thigh high – it is to laugh.

Great! I only worked 3 days and I have a 5 day weekend! Whoop whoop!
What is your Saturday morning ritual?
The kitteh monsters get me up around 8am for feeding time. Every week they get Fancy Feast as their Saturday morning treat. Then I either go back to bed or exercise and start my “me time.” Saturday is my “beauty day” so I do all my hair/facial/manicure/pedicure treatments that day.

1) How was your week? I don’t know that I’ve had a bad week since I was fortunate to be able to retire at the ripe young age of 53.
2) What is your Saturday morning ritual? LOL, everyday is Saturday now. Sleep in, get up and make us a nice lunch and decide if I’m going to cook dinner (I love to cook).
3) What’s on your nails? A real oldie. CG Nailslicks Cranberry Cream, a compromise between our still beautiful summer weather and my yearning to go back to my favorite Fall/Winter shades.
4) What’s your outfit for today? My magenta/white tie die wife beater tee with pretty lace trim. Let’s see some macho man wear this! With a pair of comfy gray drawstring shorts.
5) When it comes to boots, do you prefer: ankle booties, mid-calf, knee-high or thigh-high? I always wore knee high boots with minis when I was younger but more ankle boots now with pants or jeans.
6) Do you have a favorite item of clothing for fall? Cashmere/silk blend sweaters.
7) Lady bugs: cute or creepy? Cute.
8.) Do the leaves turn amazing colors in autumn where you live? Some, but not like New England. We have lots of evergreens here (PNW).
9) Your favorite warm drink is: Good chai.
10) What are your weekend plans? Hanging with a friend since the DH is fishing OOT. We’ll gossip, eat too much (quesadillas, good steaks and honey orange roasted chicken are all on the menu), never turn on the TV, and read in comfortable silence.
Yeah, I’m late, but we did all these things. It’s been gorgeous here, 80′s, low humidity, cool breezes from Puget Sound (don’t tell anyone, our story is it’s raining, like always). Other than wanting my darker polishes back, I wouldn’t mind if this weather lasted for another 2-3 months.
