Newsflash – It’s Friday!!! As if you didn’t notice. 
It’s also now officially fall and the last day of September! Which means my favorite holiday is right around the corner!
What is your favorite thing about autumn?
Aside from Halloween, which is my favorite holiday, I love BOOTS! Yes the opportunity to wear boots again makes me a very happy camper. But I haven’t yet been able to because September and October are usually the hottest months in the SF/Bay Area, so it’s been mostly in the 80′s and 90′s all month. Hopefully the weather will turn sunny, clear, cool & crisp soon so I can strap on some corduroy skinny jeans, a huge sweater and BOOTS!

I can’t possibly pick one thing! There are so many things I love about autumn: the fresher weather, the trees (I live in New England and it looks spectacular), I love wearing the slightly warmer jackets (more fashion options), I love Halloween (I still dress up — usually as something from Star Wars cuz I’m a nerd), and of course I love watching fall TV (Parks & Rec is so funny; 90210 is my guilty pleasure). Yay autumn! =)

Autumn is my favorite season. My favorite colors! Yes, I’m a Dexter fan. I even have read the books. I hated TrueBlood ending but then I know that Dexter will soon be on. I can’t wait till Sunday. What will Dexter be up to next?
I love the cooler air, the bright blue skies, Cinnamon Dolce Latte from Starbucks. I know it’s odd but, I used to love going back to school (up through and including senior year of high school). I also love wearing deeper nail polish and lipstick colors. The Fall was always my favorite time of year and I was really happy when my birthday (9/10) fell on an early autumn-like day. Thought of something else…I like how it gets darker earlier and you tend to spend more time at home with family. One of my absolute favorite things about autumn – the disgusting humidity is gone.

Definitely the pretty, color changing leaves! I know they’re a pain when you’re the one raking/blowing but the hubby does it so I can just enjoy the view.

The fall colours, the comfortable temperatures, the smell of wood smoke in the air on cool nights, Halloween, Thanksgiving, TV seasons return. It is all good! And, we always watch Dexter, but we actually wait to watch it during Christmas – yes we are odd that way. It’s an antidote to the sappiness of that holiday.

Me me me! I love Dexter! As for fall, I loved the Spokane (WA) fall, but over here in the Netherlands fall is basically winter with rain. All.Day.Long.:( But over here at this moment we’re celebrating summer for the first week in the whole year, it’s 77F out!:D Yes, that’s the hottest temp measured over here in 2011. So I’m soaking up the sun for as long as I can!:)
There’s no such thing. Autumn generally makes me feel sad and depressed. But this might be a good opportunity to get some nice bikers boots.

My favorite thing about fall is the colors. I love color and fall has a great blend everywhere you look. Oh yeah, and Halloween, can’t forget that.

WELL my favorite thing about fall would be colder weather, but here in San Diego it’s acutally hotter than it is in the summer, and usually when we have our fire warnings haha! But I love wearing uggs and boots anyways! And yes I will be watching Dexter, so good!!!

My favourite thing about autumn? Hmm…I love the colour palette – lots of reds, browns, oranges, and yellows. I also love being able to wear knee-high boots with sweater dresses. LOVE, love, love sweater dresses – so cozy and easy to wear.

ooh how I love autumn as well! after south Louisiana = 6 months of summer, the weather finally cools down. love that I can wear warmer clothes & not get all sticky. boots are a real plus too. but the best part is not having to run my a/c so much!
I love autumn because it’s between high water bills and high heating bills

I’m loving an end to the oppressive heat we’ve had for so long. Today’s supposed to be 85ish, and I’m glad. I’ve got the A/C off and all the windows open. It’s lovely.
Okay, strike that. Last night it was supposed to be 85ish today, but I just looked and the temp’s been revised to 76ish. I check three different sources, which is why the “ish” part.
I love the weather, and that lovely autumn smell in the air. Fantastic!
OMG, somebody who watches Dexter! I love that show so much! Too bad the new season isn’t airing here yet
I love the upcoming seasons. The weather is what I like the most I think. It feels so cozy!

Oh man Dexter is going to be good this year! I got an early release of it (well actually my husband got it) and it was so good! Dexter is definitely back to his older self and all the things that happened in it is exciting. I’m looking REALLY forward to seeing how the “villain” of the season works out!
My favorite thing is that Fall has some great drinks. I love hot teas, ciders, woodchuck ale and hot chocolates.

DEXTERRRRRRR!!!!!!!! Bah, sorry, I’m way too excited. I’ve been giddy like a school kid for the last week because it’s so damn close now! Best show on tv ever I swear!
As for fall, I love me some summer weather like nobody’s business but there is something about when it cools off a bit and the leaves change. Just gorgeous. I’m not sure I’m going to get much of that anytime soon, it’s still close to 30 C on a daily basis here lol. Also, I’m with you on the boots. Boots and skinny jeans. <3

Halloweeeeen! I love all things Halloween. September and October are usually the hottest months of the year in San Diego so I’m constantly wishing I lived elsewhere to enjoy scarves, sweaters, and boots. I also adore pumpkins and Fall-themed scented candles.
I find fall depressing too, I don’t like the way the darkness is closing in, and that winter is just around the corner. I hate the cold. I wish I lived in the south.
But I also have to agree that I do love the brilliant colors of the trees, and the smell of the dried leaves, and when we start using the wood stove, it’s so cozy and the burning wood smells wonderful. I get to hate it before too long, since it’s also a lot of work, and dries out hair and skin something fierce though. I’d much rather have summer year around.

I live a few hours south of you and it’s the same here as far as the weather goes; it’s been super warm and I can’t wait to be able to get out the sweaters and boots too. I love everything about Fall; the light, the crispness to the air, the colors, Halloween (!) and the list goes on and on. Can’t wait for Dexter Sunday!!!
