Estee Lauder Surreal Skies Pure Color Eyeshadow Palette Swatches

Surreal Skies is a palette of neutral browns and nudes. They don’t have individual color names but from left to right (and clockwise inwards in the palette) here’s what we have.

Pale shimmery warm peach
Barely detectable shimmery taupe
Medium coppery cranberry shimmer
Pale shimmery vanilla/nude
Cool chocolate brown matte

Overall:

While the colors felt soft, they didn’t have enough color impact for me, and the brown wasn’t as even as I would hope for. I think it’s a good palette for those looking for a very subtle work look or something conservative. The Emerald Oasis one looks amazing though (greens, of course). :)

Availability: Estee Lauder counters, department stores

Pricing: $45.00

What say ye? Too $$ for what you get?

I am a neutral fiend, so this is something I’ll look into. Thanks for the swatches!

It’s a pretty palette, but I have plenty of neutral shades that have a better color payoff than these. I love some of the new Estee packaging and products. I did see the Emerald palette and that one intrigues me!

The only colour I really like is the shimmery swatch on the very left. The rest don’t do anything for me, but then again, Estee Lauder is a brand that very rarely gets my attention.

I do appreciate you showing us all this, though! :)

The packaging doesn’t attract me that much (the spongey applicators are useless IMO), colors seem patchty and it’s a bit pricey…. Sorry, I don’t mean to be rude, but I really don’t like it :(

I usually buy Estee Lauder when there’s a gift with purchase. I always buy a fragrance product. This palette isn’t that great. I did see the green palette online. That looks nice but I won’t buy. I’ve got loads of shadows!

Looks pretty, but…$45 seems like a lot for five shadows, one of which is hardly noticable. I think there are plenty of other neutral options out there.
