Hard Candy Kal-eye-descope Baked Eyeshadow Duo’s are shadows which are baked on a terracotta disk and you can use them either wet or dry.
They come in fourteen different color combos.
Backstage Pass is a really nice combination of colors. One side is a pale shimmery vanilla and the other is a medium shimmery swimming pool blue.
At the beginning of this year MAC emailed 60-80 beauty bloggers about a top secret blogger collaboration collection they were putting together.
They gathered color ideas from these bloggers (yours truly was included) and then chose 9 finalists after a couple months of reviewing the submissions. Sadly I wasn’t one of them, but I was very honored to be included in the process in the first place!
These 9 finalists were flown to MAC’s headquarters in Toronto to “concoct” their color at their lab. What resulted was a collection of four eyeshadows and five lipglasses called Bloggers’ Obsession.
I think it’s really awesome that a company as large as MAC wanted bloggers to create something on this scale. It’s a big step forward for all beauty bloggers!
The colors that interested me the most were Evolution Revolution Lipglass (from Karen at Makeup and Beauty Blog), Caqui Lipglass (from Lily at Beauty Maverick ), All My Purple Life Lipglass (from Patrice at Afrobella) and Jealousy Wakes Eyeshadow (from Christine at Temptalia). And yahoo for two of them being from the Bay Area! 
The Roman Pool at Hearst Castle is just gorgeous. It’s an indoor pool decorated floor to ceiling with millions of 1″ Italian tiles, some with fused gold inside.

For me it’s a nice long four day weekend, and I plan on doing some fun things, eating lots of grilled food items and relaxing!
