Orly Happy Go Lucky Back to School Collection for 2011 Swatches, Photos & Review
Back to school. Those are words I ABHORRED hearing when I was a kid. I hated seeing the back to school commercials that always seemed to start earlier and earlier each year, encroaching on my summer. But if I had a collection like Orly‘s new one called Happy Go Lucky Back to School, I probably would have been much less surly. 
Happy Go Lucky Back to School features four new colors, two of which I have for you today.
They are all bright cremes (except one), but not necessarily neons.
- Flirty: Pink Shimmer
- Frisky: Teal Crème
- Fresh: Green Crème
- Frolic: Purple Crème
I love my Orly’s because their formula is usually really great and these are as well. Creamy, easy to apply and full coverage in just two coats.
Fresh
Fresh is a bright grass/bordering on lime green. I think this photo shows it a little brighter and more neon than it really is. It’s definitely not a neon. It’s a really fun green and I actually don’t have very many similar.
Frolic
Frolic is a bright lavender/purple creme. This color leans towards a pinkish side of purple and it’s pretty. Again this photo depicts it a little lighter and brighter than it actually is.

These colours are so perky – love them! I really like Orly’s formula – a lot of the polishes I have of theirs go on so smoothly.
Those are gorgeous colors! Despite being cremes, which are usually fairly dupe-able, these seem really unique. The are both most definitely on my list!

I’m a big Orly fan. Oddly these are Wimbledon colours! I love purple and green together. And a lovely satin-y finish. Gorgeous.

Not a fan. They look too summery to be fall – but that aside – they also look like colors we have seen. They also scream of high school shades – so maybe that was the fall slant idea from Orly = to come up with something that harkened to school colors. Agree they sure hit on Wimbledon colors!

I already have Fresh and I love it! It’s such a fun green imo. I possibly want Flirty as well… but the other two aren’t that unique for me.

I’m currently wearing Frolic on my toes! I love these polishes, they are really well pigmented and the colors are fun and perfect for Summer!
I LOVE THIS COLLECTION. I’ve got the green and pink and I’m probably going to pick up the turquoise & purple very soon. It’s so very perfect for summer and I’ve got zero complaints about the formula.
That green is BRIGHT… I’ll have to pick that one up, I don’t have any greens like it.

The phrase “back to school” sends shivers down my spine. UGH! Anyway, I love both of these and am sure I will pick them up when I see them. I had a neon green just like that but it took too many coats to look neon-ish, so I think I tossed it.
