Too Faced Smokey Eye Shadow Collection Swatches, Photos & Review
New for fall 2011 from Too Faced is the Smokey Eye Shadow Collection. Well it’s new and it isn’t new.
This is the new version of it which is thinner and has more pigmentation in the shadows. More pigmentation is always a good thing in my book!

Nice Ash (charcoal)
Smoking Jacket (black plum)
Up In Smoke (black brown)

Believe it or not, this is my first experience with Too Faced eyeshadows!
I love how inside the lid they include how-to lesson cards! I always find that super handy because sometimes, especially early in the morning, I cannot think creatively and need someone to tell me where to place things.

The shimmery shadows definitely feel very nicely pigmented and really soft to the touch.I feel the need to note that Nice Ash and Up In Smoke were so amazingly gorgeous!
The matte shadows were soft, but not as pigmented as the shimmers. They did seem a little patchy on my had swatch, but that wasn’t over primer either.
Overall:
I like how this palette includes pale and dark, warm and cool, shimmery and matte shadows, which gives you lots of smokey eye options.

The colors are really pretty. I like smoking jacket a lot. I find that Too Faced shadows can be a little patchy without primer but for me using it over shadow insurance makes them smoother and more pigmented.
Very pretty! I wish TF would put more e/s in their palettes though.
Love it!! Although I prefer only matte colors when I want a smokey look, I really feel the need to buy it.
I like this palette but I have too many similar colors to warrant purchasing it. Smoking Jacket is my favorite and almost makes it worth purchasing.
I’m so glad they revamped this!! Everywhere I go it’s always out of stock!! Yess awesome!! I’m going to have to pick it up!!

This wil sound so odd, but could you model one of the smoky looks for us? I’ve thought about purchasing the palette and I wanted to see how it looks on a real human face, and not a diagram.
Love this pallet. I need to get this. It’s the perfect opposite to the UD Nudes palette. Thanks for reviewing and posting the photos/swatches. I bought their nude eye palette and really liked it – it was completely different than the UD Nude palette, Too Face was much softer, natural looks in their nude collection.

Oohh nice! I really like their shadows….I bought the Naked Eye one last year and I use it all the time, it’s wonderful! I might have to try this one.

Love the shimmery shades much more than the mattes!
I have two of these pallettes-the naked and natural ones. they are my go-to’s everyday and evening when i go out. they have great wear, versatility and very little fall out. Great buy for $36! Maybe soon I’ll get this one too. The dark colors word very well as eyeliner
