NARS Rajasthan Eyeshadow Duo Swatches, Photos & Review

NARS Rajasthan Eyeshadow Duo came out for fall 2010, but I only recently decided it was something I needed for myself.
The color combination of this set isn’t like anything I already own and I had been hearing raves about how nice the texture and pigmentation was.
I headed over to Beauty.com when I had a discount, and purchased it. No regrets!

NARS Rajasthan
Rajasthan is a really interesting combination of light & dark.
The first color is a cool gold/taupe color with a metallic finish. Then we have a dark navy blue with lighter blue sparkles.
Both colors are extremely soft to the touch and have really nice pigmentation. There is no chalkiness here folks!
I like that you can do a more wearable daytime look with this or use more of the darker color to get things super smokey.
Overall:
Great duo and I don’t know why I didn’t get this sooner! I am only just now getting into NARS though, so I have a lot to explore yet.
Availability: Beauty.com
Pricing: $33.00
What do we think of Rajasthan?

These look like good colours you can use often. The only things that stop me from buying NARS eye shadows are the price tag and I think it has an ingredient that I’m allergic to.
I think it is a pretty duo to look at but I doubt it is something I would wear. I don’t own any Nars, yet. I have my beady little eyes on a couple of items I think I could really love, tho.
Colors are nice, but I see from these pics that the pans don’t fit perfectly inside the palette. I would expect a better packaging from a $33.00 product.
Unbelievably pretty! I love Nars!
I like this combo. I have had similar shades. I do personally have to watch out for silver in taupes as I look kind of dead in them. I do better with taupes that have gold, beige, gray undertones. Something about most with silver just over takes my eyes and all you see is the silver. Yet I have a lovely pencil by MUFE that is silver and I use it all the time for the inside corner of my eyes – that works on me – just not silver metallic on my lids or anything with too much silver in them. I do like this combo (sans too much silver) to make a good mix for a smoky eye.
I love NARS blush, but I’ve never tried their eyeshadow. I love the dark color in this duo! The price is a little steep for eyeshadow though. There’s a NARS counter at my PX, I’ll have to check if they have it there!
Sigh. This is my HG eyeshadow duo and I have hit pan on the taupe side.
I look for it every day on eBay as I am desperate for a backup. It was discontinued in the UK last year.
Hi Helen,
Let me know if you ever want like 10 of them (lol) it’s available here easily!
