Cargo Barcelona Color Palette Swatches, Photos & Review

Cargo Barcelona Cargo Barcelona Color Palette Swatches, Photos & Review

The Cargo Color Palette in Barcelona might be my favorite color palette thus far.

Now I have never been to Barcelona (would love to) but these blue, purple and green colors invoke a feeling of water, sun, beaches, white sands, and breezy clothes. Am I totally off target? Not my fault, I didn’t name it Barcelona! icon smile Cargo Barcelona Color Palette Swatches, Photos & Review

A. is a medium cornflower blue color with very tiny silver sparkles
B. is a medium shimmery ocean blue
C. is a medium shimmery lavender
D. is a light celedon green with yellow flash

Aren’t these colors gorgeous? I especially love A and D because they are the most unusual.

I have always gravitated towards blue, purple and green with clothing, makeup and basically everything because it goes so nicely with my skin tone. I think this is a great palette especially for those who look best with cool colors.

Availability: Ulta (limited selection) and Cargo’s website

Pricing: $28.00

How do you feel about Barcelona?

  • What a nice color combo. Somehow, I feel like I’ve seen this before, though. Deja vu. xP

I like the LA collection way better for my own needs/skin tones. I don’t do blues well at all and purples I have to be super careful with. Most don’t work on me unless it’s a gray/taupe/dusky purple. The celedon is pretty, but looks to be a bit too white/light for me. I’d have to say I would pass on this quad.

  • I like this one even better than Los Angeles. Now I want to go to Ulta to see if they have these.

Oh man, I loooooove this one! I may have to break down and buy it, even though I have more eye shadow than I, my children, and my grandchildren could ever use!

Might not have anything at all to do with the product-naming, but the colours are ever-so-slightly reminiscent of some of the mosaic work that the sculptor Gaudi has done in Barcelona. This for example: http://www.traveladventures.org/continents/europe/images/gaudi03.jpg
All very brightly coloured? I don’t know, maybe I’m making links here that the company didn’t even make :)

Really great colors, my favorite colors are blue, violet & green, in that order (pretty much), so I love just about any combination of those colors. That celedon color is particularly appealing, looks like nothing too special in the pan, but in your swatch, yummm!

When saw barcelona, I was expecting warmer colors like oranges or yellows.. not blues and purples!

Well, I think the colors of this palette could have been inspired in the beautiful Antonio Gaudi Mosaic tiles, that decorate several achitechtural icons in Barcelona, specially the magical “Parc Gueil”. Here’s a link http://images.inmagine.com/img/purestock/prss037/prss037531.jpg

I can totally see this in Barcelona. I love the green. It’s lovely. Wish I could buy everything thing I loved. Money and space is the great problem!
