theBalm ShadyLady Eyeshadow in All About Alex and Jealous Jordana Swatches, Photos & Review

TheBalm Shady Lady Eyeshadow theBalm ShadyLady Eyeshadow in All About Alex and Jealous Jordana Swatches, Photos & Review

theBalm is a brand I am just now becoming a little familiar with. I have tried the TimeBalm concealer, but I believe that is the only product I have used by them before. WHY?

I decided recently that this needed to be remedied so I bought a couple things. The ShadyLady Eyeshadows were a good starting point since they seem like such rich, opaque and soft shadows.

They currently come in eleven different shades, but the green ones All About Alex and Jealous Jordana were the ones that immediately caught my eye.

These are formulated with finely milled pigments and then pressed into a powder. They are made without parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes or phthalates.

The packaging is super cute too. They come in heavy-duty cardboard flip-open containers with a mirror inside.

Queen of…Shaving Gel Review

Queen of Queen of...Shaving Gel Review

Have you heard of Queen Of…Shaving Gel?

While at Target (as I seem to be every single weekend) I was buying something I needed for once; razor blades. But then out of the corner of my eye, near the regular boring cans of shaving cream I saw a SUPER CUTE tube of something. No wait, TWO super cute tubes of something! I saw the crown, saw the word “Queen” and I was already sold!

Yep, total packaging SUCKER right here.

Queen of…is actually a brand from England (but of course) owned by The King Of Shaves Company Ltd. Who KNEW there was an entire kingdom devoted to shaving? icon smile Queen of...Shaving Gel Review

So because of the adorable packaging and affordable price ($3.99), I decided to get them both since I was running low on shave gel anyway. And yes, I ONLY use gel not cream because I find it lasts longer and is smoother.

There are two kinds of this gel. One is called Ta-da! and the other is Ooh la la!

Both of them are paraben and perfume free. They both are a low foaming formula and help moisturize your skin after shaving.

Milani Haute Flash Full Coverage Shimmer Lipgloss for Summer 2011 Swatches, Photos, Review & Comparison

Milani Haute Flash Full Coverage Shimmer Lipgloss Milani Haute Flash Full Coverage Shimmer Lipgloss for Summer 2011 Swatches, Photos, Review & Comparison

Remember the Milani Lip Flash Full Coverage Shimmer Gloss Pencils that I fell so madly for? Well for summer 2011, Milani is introducing us to a new product with some of the same amazing colors!

Haute Flash Full Coverage Shimmer Lipgloss’s (Limited Edition) are shimmery, glittery glosses in a tube, rather than pencil form. They matched four of the colors to the pencils and they are pretty exact in terms of color.

  • Star Flash – Pale pink with purple/blue flash
  • Flashy – Fuchsia shimmer
  • In A Flash – Light purple/pink shimmer with blue flash
  • Hot Flash – Deep cherry red shimmer

When compared to the pencils, I notice two things. A. They are slightly more moist (though I find the pencils to be pretty moisturizing also) and B. Less maintenance overall because you don’t have to sharpen a gloss!

Ozotic Multi Chromatic Nail Polish Swatches, Photos & Review

Ozotic Multi Chromatic Ozotic Multi Chromatic Nail Polish Swatches, Photos & Review

Ozotic Pro Multi Chromatic Nail Polishes are made in Australia and a brand I never thought I would get my hands on. But I did, and boy did I ever pay the price…shipping that is.

Multi Chromatics come (or came) in six colors including 502 (Sands), 503 (Rainforest-I think now discontinued), 504 (Twilight), 505 (Eclipse), 506 (Reef) & 520 (Molten).

These are nail polishes with not just a duo-chome effect but multi-chrome effect, so you see many different colors running through it as you turn your hand and change lighting.

The ones I have are 503, 504, 505 & 506. Now 504, 505 & 506 almost look exactly the same in the bottles, depending on the way you look at them. But change the direction and you can see the differences.
