Seemed excessively long. I have been battling a very odd sore throat/cough all week as have many people I know. Glad it’s Friday!
Yes. I normally switch to a tinted moisturizer and add a brighter lip, but keep most everything else the same. Luckily we don’t have humidity here, so I don’t have melting makeup when it gets hot!
Not sure, writing this Thursday and needing to take off NARS Tokaido Express.
It depends really. Even when I am with a friend, we usually split apart once in a store and it works for me that way. But I do like to get an opinion every now & then on how something looks on me.
I’m going with tiger because if I am going to be dinner, I would like to at least feed an endangered cat 
Washing my face with Cetaphil for sensitive skin every night. I have tried other cleansers but always come back to this one. It’s so gentle, doesn’t sting eyes or have a scent, and takes almost everything off (some super waterproof makeup can be a problem).

1. How was your week? I defended my master’s thesis and I did really well, so I’m happy!
2. Do you change your makeup routine when the weather gets warmer? I never intend to, but inevitably, with all the swimming and outdoor activities, I wear makeup less frequently and just keep reapplying sunscreen instead.
3. What’s on the nails today? Oh, I did two coats of Essie Ballet Slippers and thought it looked sheer and depressing, so I covered it with two coats of Sally Hansen Strobe Light glitter, which is insanely sparkly.
4. Do you prefer to shop alone or with friends? I shop alone, with nobody else. You know when I shop alone, I prefer to be by myself…
5. You must choose! Would you rather run into a tiger, grizzly bear or angry elephant in the wild? Elephant, no question! I doubt an elephant would be much impressed by me.
6. What beauty routine have you been doing for as long as you can remember? I started putting on lip balm before bed when I was 12!
7. What is the ideal outside temperature to you? I like 28 C, which I think is like 82 F.
8. What book are you reading right now? Krik? Krak! by Edwidge Danticat.

Not really. I’m careful to make sure I don’t get any darker because I don’t usually wear bathing suits: any tan I get will be a very unattractive farmer’s tan, so when I DO want to wear a bathing suit, I’ll be too self conscious about the t-shirt shaped tan lines to do so.
What’s on the nails today?
Nothing. 5 weeks in a row! Woot. ^o^
Do you prefer to shop alone or with friends?
Depends on the friends. I hate those friends who make me go to all of their stores, but who won’t go into any of mine.

I prime, do MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus, and then spay fix+ on top. I think that’s been for two years? Though one school days I often go with Pro Longwear foundation instead.

50 degrees.

How was your week? – Pretty good, I finished all of my AP exams and last night was the opening night of my dance recital. Everything is hectic but winding down

Is that one of the newer Anne Rice books? How are they? I read most of the vampire and witch ones (earlier ones anyway) but kind of lost interest in the newer more biblical ones.
1. How was your week? Lousy! I hate my job. I am grateful to have it, but I still hate it.

Hehe, your mention of the $6.66 total reminded me of the time I had a school raffle, and one of the ticket books had the serial numbers 06660 to 06669. All my friends joked about watching out for whoever buys those tickets. My grandmother (of all people) bought that entire book. And no, she didn’t win the raffle.
Also, when I picked up my church donation envelopes one time, my envelope numbers were all 666. Thought that was really funny.

2.Do you change your makeup routine when the weather gets warmer? Not really, but this summer I’m going to try out some tinted moisturizers to see if they’re lighter than my mineral makeup, which is already very light.
3.What’s on the nails today? Sephora by OPI Caught With My Khakis Down (This has become one of my all-time favourite greens, and I’m going to review it and post pictures of it tomorrow probably)

that we can bounce ideas off each other. But I don’t mind shopping alone – I’m way faster at making a decision when I’m by myself!

7.What is the ideal outside temperature to you? I like it warm/hot, but dry…so probably 25 degrees Celcius with no humidity.

9.It’s Friday the 13th today, are you suspicious of anything? Not really. I don’t believe in superstitions. They’re funny to me. I once had a boss who got freaked out every time he saw my umbrella was open inside the building. (I was drying out my umbrella.) To me, umbrellas don’t create bad luck.

Good! I started my new job this week and I’m loving my coworkers. I can tell its going to be a good summer.

I get more creative with colors and tend to use more brights, but I don’t change anything about the actual products. The weather is pretty consistent here, and no humidity!

With friends. Even if its just groceries, being with friends makes it so much more enjoyable. I also tend to be more relaxed with friends so I make better product decisions.

Brushing my teeth? Not really a beauty thing but I’ve been doing it forever! I think the closest thing I have in my beauty routine is black eyeliner. It was my first foray into makeup and I’m still using almost every day!

75 degrees and breezy. Being from San Diego, I can’t really deal with anything 10 degrees outside of 75…I’m a weather wimp.

I’m not right now but I totally need a summer book! I’m leaning towards reading through the entire works of Jane Austen. I’ve only read Pride and Prejudice and the movie “The Jane Austen Book Club” has inspired me.

I am also a weather wimp. I would prefer it be between 70-95 at all times of the year
1.How was your week? A little worse than expected, but generally OK. I was really optimistic about returning to work and work quickly proved that was stupid of me. My boss has been UBER-cranky this week, which has certainly added to the difficulty.
2.Do you change your makeup routine when the weather gets warmer? A little bit. I usually use a tinted moisturizer instead of moisturizer and foundation, and if it’s really super hot, I go pretty easy on the eye makeup.
3.What’s on the nails today? NARS Desperado, which I bought after seeing on VV! It did not disappoint.
4.Do you prefer to shop alone or with friends? Usually alone, but I like going with friends for certain things (like if we both need a dress for the same event or something).
5.You must choose! Would you rather run into a tiger, grizzly bear or angry elephant in the wild? I pick an elephant, but I can’t really say why. I suppose they seem less vicious to me than the other two options.

How are you liking the Hunger Games series? I cannot think of the last time I read books that I loved so much. I cannot wait for the movies!
I loved those books too! I was on a long waiting list to get them from the library, but then the first one became available the day I was leaving for a road trip on the first day of winter vacation. My husband and I read the entire book aloud and finished after ten hours of driving. I love the seditious overtones in that series! I can’t wait for the movies either! I wish they’d cast someone like Hugh Laurie as Haymitch!

2.Do you change your makeup routine when the weather gets warmer? I change my moisturizer to a gel type like Garnier Moisture Rescue thanks to my super oily skin and I’m addicted to coral lips and bronzey skin.
3.What’s on the nails today? Toes: OPI Dulce de Leche Hands: Seche Victe Rebuild (my nails are not behaving and peeling/breaking every second)

Alone. Sometimes it would be nice to have another pair of eyes or get another opinion, but mostly I trust myself and I’m fairly honest with myself.

How was your week? pretty good, got a good amount of work done on play im working on.
Do you change your makeup routine when the weather gets warmer? no, i rarely wear foundation thicker than powder so thats fine in the summer. i might be more conscious of adding sunscreen though.

Long… I’m STILL waiting for this escrow to close. Just got word earlier today that their loan is 100% approved, so it’s just a matter of time, but I’m not sure how much more I can take!

Not really, I’m in Southern California, so we don’t have the weather extremes to warrant completely different makeup routines. I do tend to go for lighter or brighter colors in the Spring & Summer though.

Either way, as far as I’m concerned there’s no bad way to shop!

None sound particularly enticing to me, but.. I think I’d go with the elephant, because realistically or not, I guess I think I’d have a better chance of getting away because they’re so large. How fast can they really move? (Yes, I know, probably pretty fast)

I always wash my face before bed, but the product has changed many, many times. I do go back to the Neutrogena face wash a lot though, I like the grapefruit one. I’ve always been good about not going to bed with makeup on, I have oily skin, by bedtime I feel like an oil slick is on my face so I’m practically dying to wash it most of the time, lol.

74, slight breeze, blue skies and big, white, puffy clouds.

Sometimes I’m better shopping alone so I don’t have anyone slowing me down, but when it comes to the most evil of shopping (swimsuits) I need my closest friends to a) tell me honestly if the swimsuit is good and b) love me even if it looks like crap. And also when I’m buying a dress for a big event. I need input!

5. What beauty routine have you been doing for as long as you can remember? Clinique Soap for Combination skin and their Number 3 Clarifying Lotion. My aunt gave me some one summer when I had left my Neutrogena at home, my skin looked great and I’ve been hooked ever since!

How was your week? Long. I started working full time for the summer this week, and also returned from vacation. That was a stupid mistake on my part (starting full time work right after coming back from vacation.) And then I had a funeral today. It went well as far as funeral’s go, but it’s still an emotionally draining event.
How was your week? Pretty boring, although I got a test back in music class and I got another A. That’s straight A’s in the class..yay!

Do you prefer to shop alone or with friends? It depends on my mood. My husband likes to shop and can be helpful when I buy clothes, except he always wants me to wear miniskirts. That is not going to happen.
