I didn’t find most of these eye shadows to have much color payoff, especially the mattes, which was very disappointing. The first four here are pretty lacking in saturation and I had to work pretty hard to get the color to transfer onto my hand. Fresh Flower wasn’t too bad, but not great either.
Lucky Green is the only one that was totally insanely saturated and just gorgeous. Next up is Bows & Curtseys, which was pretty good, if not a little patchy. I think it would look better on top of a shadow insurance.

The Beauty Powders are really pretty nice in my eyes. I loved both colors for my skin tone.
Light Sunshine is definitely more saturated, and a very pretty pale/white pink.
Alpha Girl is a deeper more coral peach/pink, but not as much payoff.
Both felt very soft and nice to the touch.

The lipsticks kind of ran the gamut of colors.
Summer Shower even though it looks very blue/silver in the tub was actually more wearable than you would think. It’s definitely very sparkly, but also quite sheer.
Growing Trend is a nude taupe and looks nice on my lips close-up, but overall can have a slight corpse-effect with my skintone. Edgy and not as wearable for me.
MLLE is a very pale pink that’s also a bit sheer. I swear I had another MLLE long ago that was a lot more opaque and more of a 1960′s white/pink, but I could be mistaken. This was actually very pretty.

Fashion Flower Lipgelee

Now In Season

Now In Season

Now In Season
Now In Season is a pale cool yellow color, which was actually quite nice and wearable on me. I love Lipgelee’s as of late, and I didn’t have one this color, so I am digging it!

Fashion Flower Studio Fix BoldBlack Lash

Studio Fix BoldBlack Lash
Last but not least let’s check out the Studio Fix BoldBlack Lash Mascara.
Before I opened the tube I thought it would just be another mascara, but I was wrong. The wand is one of those plastic types with short bristles that really helps keep your lashes separated and does wonders for lengthening and keeping clumps at bay.
I am wearing it today and LOVING it so far! I have found that these types of plastic wands work best with my lashes, so this is right up my alley.
Overall:
In all honestly I am not loving most of this collection. I think the flower print is cute, but really that alone doesn’t do it for me. Most of the eye shadows didn’t give enough color payoff, which seems to be a running trend with MAC lately. I did love Lucky Green and completely utterly recommend that one.
The Beauty Powders were nice, but nothing I felt I would *need*.
The lipsticks and lipgelee were nice, but again nothing I fell madly in love with in terms of color.
The mascara I definitely recommend if you like this type of wand, I love it.
Availability: May 5th in North America and July International
Pricing: $14.50-$25.00
So what do you think of Fashion Flower now that you’ve seen it up close and personal?

I believe MLLE is a repromote from an old collection (2003 I believe?). I can’t remember the name of the collection. Thanks for getting the swatches up so early! I am pretty much skipping this collection. The Chanel summer collection has quite the hold on my wallet lol.
Hi Colleen,
Yeah I am pretty sure I had it before but would have sworn the color was a little different.
The standout for me is the Lucky Green.
Hi Lesley,
I think that is the item most people are going to like the most!
I like Lucky Green & Now in Season. They’re both gorgeous.

Hi Phyrra,
Cool beans!
I agree with Phyrra:)
Hi Naomi,
You gonna pick either of them up?
no pictures of ever hip?
Hi tess,
I wasn’t sent Ever Hip.
@Tess. Ever Hip came out last spring for the Liberty of London collection. There should still be plenty of swatches of it online.
ah, thank you!
Holy friggin’ smokes – I am gonna have to get Summer Shower and Now In Season – may have to get that Lucky Green too!
I want summer shower
Green yay

Summer Shower looks so funky and cool in the tube. Kinda wish it went on the lips that crazy colour because it’d be so different…not wearable, but maybe neat for layering with other colours.

Summer Shower and Now In Season are the standouts for me, but I’m not sure I’ll purchase.
I would definitely like to pick up Lucky Green! It’s the prettiest thing in the collection. MAC sure puts out a LOT of collections..but I guess that’s what makes it all fun.
The lipsticks are really strange looking. Not something I’d buy. The shadows are mostly not very pigmented. The green shadow is really pretty.
Lucky Green is a permanent, I wish I had know about this collection because I would’ve waited to get it just for the adorable flower print!
Meh. Nothing I *need* to get
I love Summer Shower and Fashion Flower! So cool

I think I *need* Lucky Green; very disappointed in the other ones which is too bad cuz they’d be very pretty if the color payoff was better. I’m loving lip gelees lately too so I might have to get 1 or 2 of those too. Thanks for the swatches
I want MAC Growing Trend & Ever Hip Lipsticks! Great post & thanks for the swatches.
