New Hair
Morning!
I finally am back to the bob hair cut I have been trying to get back to for MONTHS now, yay! In all honesty I really didn’t like my last hair cut, I think my days of being super short all over are done with. I find the bob way more flattering on me now.
T color is a little brighter around the top, I just got some slightly more beige highlights than normal and had the roots touched up because I’m going for a blonder look now that spring/summer is here.
What I love about this cut is A. You can make it super sleek and straight or B. I can add some “goop” to it and make it all texturized. Also I like that I can get it REALLY big in the back because I love big hair. 
Speaking of texture, I recently got the Bumble and Bumble Texture Creme and the stuff is AMAZING with my hair (fine, but lots of it). Will review soon!

I’ve been struggling lately with a hair change. At the moment I could go in any direction; I have a very grown out bob and lots of thick hair almost to my collarbones– in short, a ‘before’. I want something more structured and shaped and I keep looking at pictures of bobs. I haven’t had bangs in 10 years but I’m getting into one of those ‘just surprise me’ moods, like I may give my stylist a bunch of pictures and tell her to just go.

Thanks! I seem to always go back to the bob the last 4 or 5 years now. It’s just so easy for me to manage and I have no patience for spending more than 7-8 minutes on my hair

You are probably just used to your hair now. It definitely can take time to get used to a new cut, I felt the same way when I cut it really short last winter…

I haven’t been using Nubar for awhile (I ran out and haven’t yet replenished), I’ve been using China Glaze, Milani and Deborah Lippmann top coats lately.

Not for nothin’- your short hair looked really fabulous on you! But if you weren’t feelin’ it- then it’s gotta go. The most important thing is how your cut makes YOU feel. Even though you’ve shown us the ever-changing-hairstyle pictures (I have those, too- hehe!), I can’t fight the feeling that the bob is kind of a signature look for you- it’s quite elegant yet still versatile, and allows for endless color variations! Awesome.

I know how it’s like yearning for the “right” cut and color, I’ve been gradually going from dark brown to blonde these past months since I got the bright idea to chop off my long blonde hair and dye it brown. I’m just not myself without the blonde, so now I’m growing it out!
