Happy Saturday!

Hope you have fun things planned today. Nice weather in the Bay Area this weekend so I am going to soak up as much of it as I can

Today kicks off the start of a new series I plan on doing which will be all about my top favorite products. I am trying to get out of the rut of only doing reviews but it’s hard because I have SO many to catch up on and only have the weekends! I know you guys liked my top 10 nail posts so this will be a bit like that, but expanded into other areas.

As you might know, I am a huge fan of MAC lipsticks and currently own over 100 of them! I’ve been collecting since the very early 90′s (and have recycled at least 50-75) so I thought I would show you some of my favorite bright pinks by them.

Bright pink has always been a favorite lipstick choice for me and since we are in the middle of spring and summer is right around the corner, what better time than now to bust out a bright pink lip?

MAC Candy Yum-Yum

Candy Yum-Yum (Matte) is the newest of the super bright, almost neon pink lipsticks MAC has out. The second I applied this one it became my favorite lipstick, possibly ever. I love the color so much, it’s perfection on me.

TGIF!

Welcome to the flower edition of my Friday poll! The photo above was taken with my iPhone, then I used my new favorite app called PicFX on it to create this peeling paint effect.

Flowers seemed appropriate this week since I got some yesterday, which I am SURE will be dead by next week. Oh also, April showers bring May flowers.

Up and down, but ended decently with me taking today off (to watch the Royal Wedding).

2. Are you allergic to flowers?

I have seasonal allergies in the spring, but don’t have any particular flower I know that I am allergic to.

4. What is your favorite flower?

Peonies! A very close second are Tulips.

5. What flower do you loathe the smell of?

Quick say this 3 times fast: Too Faced Full Bloom Ultra Flush Powder Blush.

These blushes come in just three colors right now (Sweet Pink, Who’s Your Poppy?, Cocoa Rose) and are contained in a somewhat small compact (0.14 oz), but they pack quite the color punch!

They say that these give a “burst of sheer and luminous color” but sheer isn’t the word I would use when describing these. Pigmentation is more like it.

I’m a HUGE cupcake fanatic. I could look at them and eat them all day long. I love them so much I even love the idea of smearing cupcake scented items all over my skin…As long as they don’t smell sickly sweet that is.

The Fortune Cookie Soap Whipped Cream Body Butter in “Cupcake” completely fits the bill. This stuff is amazing.

This is a thick, super-moisturizing body butter with the scent of cake batter and vanilla frosting, but it’s not at all too sweet or fake smelling. I have bought some cupcake lotions in the past that were so gross I couldn’t use them more than once, but I am totally hooked on this stuff now.
