Milani Liquif-Eye Liquid Eye Liner Automatic Propel Pencils Swatches & Review
Have you seen the new Milani Liquif-Eye Automatic Eye Liners yet? They are pretty cool!
Right now they come in three colors
- Green – Deep forest green with glitter
- Blue - Vivid medium blue with glitter
- Purple – Dark royal purple with glitter
They are called Liquif-Eye because they are meant to give the same easy smooth application as a liquid liner does. Well I can say they are definitely not like a liquid liner, but they do apply easily and are very creamy and saturated.
They are smudge-proof and last a very long time. In fact even on my hand swatch I had to use a really good remover to get it completely off.
I wouldn’t use them on the waterline because of the glitter particles.
(The dull blue tip is because I was already using it before I got the others)
Purple, Green, Blue
Just look at how amazing these colors are! Especially the purple, it’s so dark and pigmented. I love all three actually.
Overall:
Great colors, nice staying power. The only drawback for me is the tip doesn’t stay pointed for more than one use, and while they do “propel” up like an automatic pencil should, the tip gets rounded and less precise.

May I ask how they compare to MAC Pearlglides? The seem like they could be similar.

Yes you may! They are extremely similar actually. I think these might last a bit longer on me though than the Pearlglides. Also I think these might have a bit more glitter in them.

Love love love glitter in my eyeliner!! I guess they arent waterproof? The purple looks black with purple glitter but thats ok. Ive been wearing sephora’s glitter eyeliner and it is $15 and this is only $5.50! Im gonna go get some today cause Im out of eyeliner wih glitter

They aren’t waterproof… neither were the originals though.

oooh! Love. I had problems with the other Liquif-Eye liners, though. The glitter migrated around and hurt my eyes!
Next time I’m in a state where Milani is common, that purple will indeed be mine.
Love all three of them. I’m more and more impressed by all of the drugstore cosmetics lately.
That purple is to die for! I totally just did a post on an Avon glitter eyeliner that reminds me a lot of this. I own a black and a dark blue one and I was just thinking about making an Avon order today for some more colors but I think I’m gonna get these instead, or at leatst the dark purple one. I’m hoping Milani does a buy one get on 50% off sale soon!!

I love these but especially the green and purple! Great to know that they last and are smudge-proof. I lost out on alot of the MAC pearlglide intense eye liner colors so I’m going to look for these!
I love all three of these, but if I had to choose one it would be a toss up between the green and purple.
I have their Metallic Eyeliner Pencil. Scrangie rec’d it and said that it was good or better than Urban Decay 24/7 Glider On Eye Pencil (Sorry Kelly..I know this is YOUR blog!) so I thought i’d try it. I love it.. It’s creamy and saturated like this one..you have to smudge it fast tho b/c it sets..!
