In case you have been living on Mars lately, Wet n Wild recently came out with some new eyeshadow palettes, each with 8 colors. I call ’em Wet n Wild 8 Eyeshadow Palettes. Original, no?

The palette names are Comfort Zone (neutrals/greens/browns), Petal Pusher (pinks/purples/reds) and Blue Had Me At Hello (silvers/blues/blacks).

All of the palettes have 2 browbone highlights, 2 eyelid colors, 2 crease colors and 2 define (liner) colors.

Let’s take a peek inside!

1st: shimmery pale champagne/gold for highlighting
2nd: shimmery opaque copper/pink for eyelid
3rd: medium shimmery bronze/gold for crease
4th: dark reddish brown with copper glitter for defining

All of these colors were very soft and opaque. I was most surprised at the dark one, I didn’t expect it to be this amazing!

I love the two in the middle, I am so into these metallic metal colors right now.

1st: shimmery pale taupe/gold for highlighting
2nd: shimmery olive green for eyelid
3rd: dark greenish brown with gold glitter for crease
4th: dark red/brown/plum duochrome color for defining

These were all really nice as well. The duochrome one is pretty cool looking, but perhaps not as opaque as some of the others.

1st: pale white/pink with minor shimmer for highlighting
2nd: pale lavender for eyelid
3rd: medium shimmery grape purple for crease
4th: medium lavender/purple with glitter for defining

The first two in this palette were not as opaque as I had hoped. The first one does make a nice highlight because it’s not TOO shimmery, but I wasn’t thrilled with the 2nd lavender color because it was so sheer.

1st: shimmery candy pink for highlighting
2nd: red/plum with glitter for eyelid
3rd: dark reddish black with red glitter for crease
4th: black with silver glitter for defining

Three of these four were more opaque than the left side, which is great. The only patchy one really was the 2nd red color. The last one is a wee bit patchy, but not too bad. I love the third one, so opaque!

1st: shimmery pale silver for highlighting
2nd: medium silver/blue for eyelid
3rd: dark navy blue with light blue glitter for crease
4th: black matte for defining

Here the most opaque colors re the 2nd and 3rd ones. Amazing pigmentation here! The last one was very patchy and not that great for me.

1st: pale blue for highlighting
2nd: shimmery green/blue for eyelid
3rd: deep blue shimmer for crease
4th: black matte with silver glitter for crease

Wow for the middle colors again, just gorgeous! The last one, which looked in the pan totally amazing, didn’t turn out that great.

Overall:

Love all of these! I think my favorite one and the best overall is Comfort Zone. The colors in it are definitely the most opaque and you get more bang for your buck that way. I do like the others also, but don’t love all the colors inside. I think the mattes tend to be chalky and patchy, so they need to work on those.
