A Plethora of Red & Pink Nail Polish for Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is almost here, are you prepared?
I don’t really go all out or anything on Valentine’s Day, never have. I’m not much into to the over-hyped and commercialized (and overpriced) holiday, but it is fun to do a nice red or pink manicure for the day.

So pretty! I wish I was talented enough to do red nails with pink hearts or vice-versa, however cheesy that may sounds.
BUT, I ended up getting the Stila Make me blush palette instead for myself and and a gift for my sister. I love the special makeup posts!

I found the Physician’s Formula palette today! I was picking up a prescription and thought I would check again to see if CVS had it and they did! So excited. Now I have that and the Stila palette coming my way too!

Hubba hubba! I only reach for reds and pinks on rare occasion, but seeing them all together like this makes me swoon. Kelly, please help me save money and heartache over Illamasqua Throb not being readily available here in the States; what color would you say is most similar? Any RBL reds slightly close? I think I may need to get that one regardless though! It seems to have so much more punch than any red I’ve seen.

I have a bunch of red RBL’s but only 1 swatched I think. Chinoise might not be a dupe for Throb but it’s insanely gorgeous, like bright creamy Chinese red lacquer.
I love Chinoise! That, along with OPI Got the Blues for Red and Zoya Nidhi are my favorite reds. Throb seems like it’s the perfect in-between medium, blue-leaning red creme.
I loooove the urban decay colors! I don’t know why but I can’t stop looking at Hasbury! I usually don’t do pink, but it’s a gorgeous color!
Holy Crow that’s a lot of swatches LOL I chose Zoya Sarah has my color last night thinking it appropriate for the impending VDay
Whoa! That’s a lot of pink and red! I’m kind of boring, so I’ll probably stick to a red creme for V-Day.

I’m not a huge ‘pink and red’ girl, although I do have a shameful amount of them as well. But I was going through this post going ‘got it’, ‘got it’, ‘don’t got it but want it now’, lol. So many pretty colors!
I’m also not a big Valentine’s person, probably because I don’t have a Valentine, lol (yes, this is by choice. Long, depressing story about my huge fear of loss, blah blah blah). But for some reason this year I felt like doing my nails all Valentine-y. So I’ve got on a bright, sparkly red pedi right now, and I’m going to do something fun on my nails soon. I’ll wait for your Friday poll (if you do one this week) to name colors.

There are only a few Lippmann polishes that have impressed me as unique enough to be worth the money, and I’m TOTALLY adding Bitches’ Brew to the top of that list. That is seriously complex and gorgeous!
Also, I think it’s great that you have such a range of different prices and products. That’s one of the things I love so much about your blog- you are “equal opportunity”!
