NARS Desperado Nail Polish for Spring 2011 Swatches, Photos and Review
NARS spring 2011 collection includes a gorgeous and unique looking nail polish called Desperado.
Upon first glance, Desperado looks to be a very warm, shimmery “old gold” color. But once it’s on after 3 coats, it turns into an amazing gold, faintly green color with tons of depth.

I definitely thought Desperado was going to be too yellow and warm for me, even after I applied one coat. But after three, when the depth of the color truly comes out, it looked amazing.
Overall:
I love these antique looking golds because they are unusual and look so cool. I think the name is right on target with this one!

I saw this in Sephora and the bottle I saw was just cruddy, they need to change it out because this is BEAUTIFUL. Seriously in love with this color. And to think I passed on it because of an old, cruddy tester bottle!

Gold polish isn’t my thing. My aunt gave me Christian Dior’s gold polish a few years ago but I didn’t really like it a lot.
VV, did you do VV Top 10 Fav’s Neutral yet? I couldn’t find it.
This is a pretty cool shade. Not sure if I will get it but I think it’s a pretty unique gold compared to all those I have and seen.

I have this one and I love it too! I think three coats is the trick for getting maximum color depth… I tried two and wasn’t quite as thrilled with it.
