Stila for J.Crew Lip Glaze Set Swatches

Love Stila Lip Glaze? Love J. Crew? You can now find a special Stila for J. Crew Lip Glaze Set! Oh and it’s also on sale now
What are Lip Glaze’s exactly, you ask? They are fairly sheer lip glosses that are non-sticky and smell like lemonade. They come in a tube that you twist to get the product up (initially you have to twist for an eternity to get it to flow to the tip, but then it’s good to go) and the tip is a small brush-style.
These aren’t for those gals who are looking for mega-color though, as the name implies, they impart just a “glaze” of color on your pucker.

Raspberry, Grapefruit, Starfruit
Raspberry is a light wash of a pinky/purple color with no shimmer.
Grapefruit is a light pink with pink shimmer.
Starfruit is a peach/pink with pink shimmer and the one with the most color in the set.
Because they are fairly sheer they don’t last a very long time, but it’s kind of fun applying them! They do have tons of shine, even if the color isn’t super noticeable.
These are normally $22.00 each, but the 3-piece set is now available on sale for $24.99 here. I think that’s a pretty good deal!
What do you think of Stila Lip Glaze?

I am fairly new to Stila Lip Glazes, but I really like the texture, shine, and flavor. I’ve been so addicted to my sticky MAC lip glosses, it’s refreshing to find something new. I think they work well over lipsticks too.
They actually had a set of Stila Lip Glazes at my local Costco right around Christmastime. It was a set of 7 for $16.99. I was going to pick them up, but didn’t. I guess I thought I had too many lip glosses already.

Stila fails with this one
All three colors are already available. They basically packed up non-limited edition glosses, threw them in a box with the J.Crew and Stila names and priced them outrageously. You can purchase the Limited Edition Set with 4 of the best selling shades and 4 Limited Edition shades for $25 on Sephora.
I believe the LE Set from Sephora has deluxe travel sizes of each shade (.05 fl oz.) while the J. Crew set has full size (.08 fl. oz).
It is but it’s still a better deal. More product for .1 more and you receive 5 more shades in a Limited Edition box.
I like the packaging – very sleek-looking. But none of the colours are jumping out for me. Thanks for swatching them!

Everytime I see Stila lip glazes they always seem half empty!? Is there not much product in the tube?

Too sheer for me.
