BB Couture Wild West Collection For Men Swatches & Review

BB Couture Wild West BB Couture Wild West Collection For Men Swatches & Review

BB Couture Wild West is a twelve-piece collection of amazing colors. As per the norm as of late, there are six colors “for men” and six “for women”.

If you aren’t familiar with BB Couture they have a whole line of polish in square bottles aimed towards men. There really is no difference in those and their other colors other than the bottle shape. Obviously anyone can wear anything, and they all are gorgeous!

Anyway when I hear about a western collection I get all giddy inside because China Glaze Rodeo Diva is one of my all-time favorite collections, and those were all western inspired as well.

Today I am covering the “for men” colors.

BB Couture’s formula is really quite spectacular, and these are as well. All of them were smooth and buttery and applied so nicely. The one negative is that I noticed the brushes do get flooded with color, so make sure to really wipe off any excess on the brush before applying. All of these covered perfectly in just two coats.

Dashing Diva Spring 2011 Nail Collection Swatches & Review

Well it’s the first Monday of 2011 and I for one am starting it out right — by not being at work icon biggrin Dashing Diva Spring 2011 Nail Collection Swatches & Review I do go back tomorrow (loud sigh) though. Are you back to your “normal” schedule yet?

I really do have spring on my mind a lot lately, which is interesting considering I look out my window and all I have seen for the past few weeks for the most part are grey, wet, foggy days. But indoors in my office it’s ALL color and sunshine!

Dashing Diva’s spring 2011 collection will surely get you in the mind-set for longer warmer days as well. The formula was really good on these, thick but easy to apply, with good opacity in two coats.

Butter-Me-Up

Butter-Me-Up is a very pretty light butter yellow with heavy yellow/gold shimmer. I was a bit convinced when I saw it that it would be a dupe for Chanel’s new Pearl Drop, but nope. This is much more yellow, with heavier shimmer and warmer. I prefer this one actually. I was really surprised by how thick and opaque it was, considering how light it look. You could almost do a single coat. It does apply “like butter”. icon biggrin Dashing Diva Spring 2011 Nail Collection Swatches & Review

Zoya Intimate Collection for Spring 2011 Swatches & Review

Zoya Intimate Zoya Intimate Collection for Spring 2011 Swatches & Review

Happy 2011!

Let’s ring in the new year with a bang, shall we? icon smile Zoya Intimate Collection for Spring 2011 Swatches & Review

We are marching rapidly into spring (at least that’s what I am pretending because I have been so cold lately) and with that means some beautiful new nail colors.

The Zoya Intimate collection features six new colors invoking thoughts of “temptations, whispers, dreams, secrets, illusions, liaisons, trysts… lingerie… kisses.”

  • Marley – lavender pink with a whisper of metallic
  • Dove – delicate, pale gray cream
  • Caitlin – misty, moody gray violet cream
  • Dannii – sparkling, enchanted orchid metallic
  • Jules – soft, glimmering gold kiss metallic
  • Gemma- mysterious green/purple duotone metallic

I for one am super excited about this collection because I think the colors go together so perfectly and I love that we get a variety of finishes as well. There isn’t a single color here I didn’t like and a few that I just L.O.V.E.

The formula was excellent, as per always. I thought most of these colors were going to be three-coaters as I applied them because they seemed on the sheer side. Happily every single one was opaque in just two coats!
